Please report back. I can’t listen to Monique. Too grating.

I scanned the article. Just a bunch of receipts about how this boy hoarded this bike all day long undocking and redocking to avoid paying the fees. It wasn't his at the time the PA rented it he doesn't have a right to monopolize it all day and as the mother said, there were other bikes. Surely the boy can use different ones too. Citi Bike might need to tighten the rules to avoid the abuse of bikes in this way.

Thanks. I was concerned Monique would use the interview as an opportunity try to develop a defense for her own potential defamation suit. Although I was hopefully she isn’t smart enough for that, and apparently she’s not, because that’s helpful discovery for Comrie.

Well Monique is now more focused on how the nurse was “weaponizing white womens tears” in her reaction to a “disagreement” - so now we are all more in the realm of opinion, not defamation.

Of course the absolutely hypocrisy is Monique going on and on about how upsetting and bad it is for the boy to be attacked on the Internet! While of course neglecting to mention that he or his friends put the clip online AND that Monique was probably the #1 reason the flames were fanned against all parties.

But she absolutely called the nurse a thief a few days ago.

Agreed. That seems to be the strongest defamation claim.

She already defamed the PA though. I agree she has shifted gears but she already got herself in the cross hairs.

The whole "weaponizing white women's tears" and "white women aren't allowed to call for help" thing takes a hit with this. The guys in the video were clearly mocking her, calling her baby r***d, and they even admit to (a) not having the e-bike checked out when she got on it, (b) hoarding a rare e-bike, and (c) pushing the e-bike back into the dock with her on it.

Sure, not everybody wants to understand these behaviors were wrong. But some will certainly see that she felt threatened and had as much right to the e-bike as they did.

What about the fact that when he checked it out he only kept it out for another six minutes?

“Look over here! Weaponization on if White woman tears! Emmett Till! Racism! IT’S NOT ABOUT THE RECEIPTS!!”

*more furious hand waving, smoke and mirrors*

The PA is the one who instigated the whole situation. She has no one to blame but herself.

You’re so right. She shouldn’t have attempted to rent an unrented bike that belonged to no one. What a moron she is!

The guy specifically told her that he was getting ready to ride the bike back to the Bronx.

Sure, a pregnant woman coming off a 12-hour shift has absolutely no right to claim an e-bike nobody was using (and her lawyer says nobody was near the bike).

If he said that he was lying because that’s not what he did.

And it only took him 6 minutes? Is it really that close?
