The troll trolling for a troll is the sadest troll of all.

Search the word "socket puppet" and you will see over 10 comments this mut has made. He's an ECNL hack. Not sure he has actually offered anything of value other than is sarcasm.

Perhaps you should just focus your efforts on the substance of the post rather than worry about who you think the poster is or is not.

Ok. There is no substance in his post. He's like a homeless mut running the street looking for a pat on the head.

Oh you're back! I missed you. Did the DA offer finally roll in when the ECNL girls turned it down?

ECNL players turned down DA offers? Oh yeah? Where did that happen at.

There's plenty actually. My DD is one.

I too know a few who did so for various reasons. none of the reasons were really because that ECNL was a better development opportunity.

ECNL doesn't develop anyone. Nore does GDA for that matter, or any other league. Hopefully one goes to any club because of the club's development environment.

For Immediate Release

Concorde Fire has always competed at the top level of competition for our elite female players. After evaluating the complete soccer landscape and carefully reviewing all information on the local, regional, and national levels of female soccer, we believe what is best for the players and families of Concorde Fire is to become an ECNL All-In member for our elite female players. ECNL is the most in line with Concorde Fire and its members’ vision and core values.

As a founding member of ECNL, Concorde Fire has thrived at the top level of competition for our elite female players through the ECNL platform, producing National team, NWSL, and collegiate players. Concorde Fire and ECNL are dedicated to excellence on and off the field.

We look forward to competing with over 80 All-In clubs that represent a large number of the most successful clubs in the history of American female soccer. The list of outstanding clubs can be found on the ECNL website (http://www.eliteclubsnationalleague.com/)

Concorde Fire is also excited to announce that we will field two ECNL[u] teams in the U15, U16, U17 and U18 age groups for the 2018-2019 season. There will continue to be one team in the U13 and U14 age groups. This will allow more players to “Raise the Game” and experience the five core values of ECNL and compete in an elite environment with unmatched collegiate exposure.

Concorde Fire looks forward to continuing to produce the next generation of collegiate stars and National team players and to support the success of ALL players’ dreams and aspirations and to fully support the success of US Soccer National Teams.

While DA is losing another club to ECNL taking note of the emphasized it is clear not only why some clubs are choosing ECNL and that is that instead of charging just 80 kids $3000 a pop they can now charge 160 kids $3000 a pop. So a club like Concord Fire and PDA fielding two teams per age group is not making ECNL "Elite" but it is making those clubs more money than DA.

I did not realize this was news on this forum. I said several pages back 1-2 more would drop out. I knew for sure Concorde Fire, and I thought NTH Tophat, but so far, Tophat is staying put as is. To my knowledge, those are the last of the planned trickle drop outs. However, if ECNL and DA cost the same - a proposition put forward by many - I would say a full year for the same price as a half year is a better deal, assuming all things are equal. Just my 2 cents.

That said, it's not just about DA or ECNL. The best answer is still where your child will get the most development and be placed with the best coach.

The club’s plan for the 2001s-2004s will be to offer 2 different team options to our players. The first will be a 10-month ECNL program, that will include conference games, ECNL Showcases and friendly weekends vs top clubs spread over the entire year. This team will be selected based on ability first and then the willingness of the player to commit to the 10-month calendar. Players on this team will be allowed to participate in other high school sports, just not soccer. This year round program has been a formula for success for our elite players for the last 5 years.

The Michigan Hawks will also offer 6-month ECNL programming for players, for those players that would like to play high school. The only difference for this group will be that they will play their conference schedule and showcases in the fall and winter, finishing up in early March, before high school starts. There will be an option for a spring showcase team for these players on the 6-month team that choose not to play in high school.

What's the difference between a 10-month ECNL program and a 10 month DA program (except probably a smaller pool of clubs to play)? I'm being serious. Why leave the DA to form an ECNL version of it?

Not following

What is it you aren't following?

It's 6/7 from same team that were offered positions they were offered at least a month ago if not longer but not officially.
Now they're holding out which may put a link in that travel clubs tryouts this week

And no coach announced that I'm aware of.

seriously, this and the previous are like stream of consciousness, very hard to understand. i had to guess at the meaning and i’m still not sure i understand without an interpreter to help.

Who is holding out and you mean kink? why does it matter? it should be about girls getting better because of training, not because dead ringers are staying so your kid will be on a winning record team.

OP is an FCV parent who is worried that recruiting is not going well so needs to throw a jab at WS. Truth is that FCV younger teams are weak, they rely on recruiting and spring tryouts are not going well. FCV DA 04 is losing their best player to Loudoun ECNL. FCV 06 and 07 and 08 are bad teams with few players. They have to shuffle kids between teams. Nobody good is showing up to their tryouts.

They are losing some good players. I'm not sure their best is going to Loudoun ECNL. I heard their best was going to McLean ECNL, and it was a coaching based decision.

Yes, at least 04 and up, players are not leaving en masse to DAs from ECNLs. Most are staying put wherever their home club is. I haven't seen too much from the 05 and down quadrant, but I do know of some very talented 05s and 06s that have left the ECNL for the DA. Until I see full teams though, I don't know how wide spread this actually is.

+1. Hate that DCUM SP.

+2. I'm not hear to argue or prove anything to anyone. But an open exchange of ideas and information could actually have been useful. Unfortunately, he comes on to interject with his dreams of living vicariously through his little superstar any time we try to talk real brass tax.

You have serious issues. You are actually having conversations with yourself. Again. What is your position? You refuse to answer that every single time the question is posed to you. I have asked it at least four times in the last 3 pages. I guess you're too busy having fake conversations with yourself to answer

All bark. No bite.

Probably to appease the powerful but vindictive leadership of ECNL, or because DA puts pressure on clubs to keep costs lower for kids, which requires more work for clubs. I know that hasn't really happened on the girls DA side yet, but I assume it's coming.
