Trump keeps doubling down on how great he has made the economy, which is angering his base. They don’t follow government statistical agencies problems but they do listen to Trump say how great it is when it doesn’t reflect their experience. Nobody likes to be gaslighted.

Was in Georgetown tonight doing some Xmas shopping. In talking with a few store managers consensus is sales are down about 40%. Anecdotal, I know, but it still was eye opening.

I talked with small business owners and they also said business is down.

Even without stats, we can experience that the economy is effed due to Trump.

Once the tariff thing started, it went from Biden's economy to Trump. Everything since April is on Trump

the irony is that Trump could have left Biden's economy intact and middle and upper class people wouldn't have been as upset about the ICE raids and other malice.

It’s not Canada, it’s Tequila. Bourbon was hot pre-Covid but went crazy during Covid. Secondary prices were ridiculous. Distilleries went into overdrive thinking the boom would be sustainable. Then agave said hold my beer.

No. Ontario was the biggest export market for bourbon. We don't want it anymore.
