As I said a few pages back, maybe iHeart gave Danni a really good "severance", or she wants to run up credit card debt, or has airline miles to burn.

Just food for thought.

She may very well have been a lifelong prince fan or whatever but it makes her appear disingenuine to be SO AFFECTED and SO INTO whatever the cause of the moment is. Just my two cents.

Yesterday I told my people I was homesick. If you think I was homesick yesterday imagine how today feels. My sweet nanny Jay just came in and sat on the edge of my bed. She shyly asked me why Prince's death affected me the way it did. To be clear I wailed like a wounded animal when I found out. There are many Prince lovers, but Minnesota Prince lovers are a different breed.
I was born into loving Prince. I didn't have a choice. My mom and aunty used to chase around Prince before he was the Prince you know and love.

Years ago Prince performed at a theatre in Mpls. If you can believe this, Prince was just the guitarist. He was featuring this girl group he had put together. I didn't care about them, sorry ladies, I wanted to see Prince. At the end of the show Prince looked over and yelled to his stage manager to let ladies come up and dance. I was in the LAST row...I told my boss Sam to move and headed to the stage. He looked at me and said, "Danni it's never gonna happen." As I ran like a mad woman towards the stage I screamed back, "WATCH ME!"
That night I danced on stage with Prince. Actually I wouldn't call it dancing. I looked at his purple highness and I literally lost all Rhythm, to make things worse when he smiled at me I blurted out, "MY MOM LOVES YOU!" and she does, but so did I and I was massively embarrassed.

I loved Prince. I waited HOURS outside of First Ave with BFC on 07/07/07 only to hear Prince do about 2 songs before the city shut the party down. I was in heels, could barely walk by the end, and it was all worth it.

Last summer I saw Prince perform in Baltimore. He was doing a Peace concert for Freddie Gray. I could not believe how amazing he was. Such a musical genius.
I loved prince for his music, but I really loved Prince for his advocacy and activism.

I looked for a flight to go home, but with the girls it just wasn't doable. So this weekend my little brother is flying to be with me. We are going to watch Purple Rain, binge listen to all Prince music and talk about Prince like he was family...because to Minnesotan's he was family.
Prince was ride or die for Minnesota, I literally just want to be back in my city. Mourning from here is ?

I've listened to Kane show for years and not once on any single part of social media did Danni ever even mention Prince. She's a psycho

Does anyone else think it's kind of degrading and pretentious to literally call her nanny "nanny jay"...? Like just call her by her first name. We get it, you have a nanny

You know, I get there are a lot of Danni haters on here that want to jump on every.single.thing. she does, but bashing her because she is a Minnesotan who loves Prince and is sad by his passing? Really? Intern John posted tributes and memories about his love for Prince too, and I haven't seen a single thing on here about how ridiculous his posts about Prince were. Here is one, for the record:

Being from Minnesota I can tell you that ?#?Prince? was to Minnesota what Elvis was to Memphis, and what Eminem is to Detroit. Though he was like illusion in that he was rarely seen, everyone seemed to have a Prince story. One of my favorites is that there was a night at a club in Minneapolis where he showed up one night to do a surprise show, and had his security guars carry him in because he didn't want to get his shoes wet, but since he was Prince it was cool. I remember one of my first weeks at my first radio job on 101.3 KDWB we had tickets for Prince's 7-7-7 show on July 7th 2007. I was in a parking lot with someone else from the radio station, we had maybe two extra pairs of tickets. The parking lot must have been packed with 200+ people trying to win these tickets. How would they win? We would literally hit their car with an axe, and if they were ok with that, they would win the tickets. We ended up having to do a drawing to see who's car would be hit because that's how many Minnesotans were willing to exchange the damage for tickets, that's how much Minnesota loved Price. And literally EVERY Minnesotan could drive you to Paisley Park blindfolded. A true icon

OH NO! IJ made his post about HIM too. What ever shall we do!? In fact, he has FOUR Prince-related posts on his Facebook page (Danni has 5 posted).

But seriously, I get that Danni is annoying, often, very often, but there is nothing wrong with her paying her respects to someone she admired. A lot of us love Prince and are very saddened by his sudden death.

Oh yeah, so let's crucify her because she wants to go home! LOL This is comical. When Michael Jackson died, people had similar sentiments. Grow up and let people mourn in the way they feel is best.

I didn't realize asking a question was "crucifying her."

Danni may be a Prince fan and upset about his death, not doubting that, but I also think she just loves the drama and always needs to be soooooooo emotional about something. She 'wailed like a wounded animal' when she found out? Seriously?

I'll take rose trying to relate over Danni's ridiculous prince post in Instagram. I've silently followed this board for a while now and I finally see why everyone can't stand her. Literally, every single situation she turns into a post about herself. No wonder she doesn't have a full time job. I'm sorry, but if I was her boss and she told me she needed to take off work bc prince died, I wouldn't allow it. She loves drama.

SHE NEEDS ATTENTION ALL THE TIME

I would like to believe that if she had an actual job, she wouldn't really take time away from it, but honestly it's Danni, so who really knows. I wouldn't put it past her to recognize that it would be inappropriate to request off to fly home because a celebrity she liked passed away. She's just like every other person in the world when a big celebrity dies, they suddenly act as if they had been BFFs with the person and they have no idea how their life will go on without them. Same thing happened when Whitney Houston died. I'm not saying it's not extremely sad that Prince passed away, it absolutely is, and I can understand maybe trying to recall some moments when he affected your life if you were a fan, but to act as if it was a legit family member that died every time a celebrity passes away is just ludicrous.

This woman I work with did the same thing... : " OMG my whole life relates to Prince" but I have never heard you talk about him before.
It is because some people crave attention non stop and they will turn every subject and make it about themselves. Sad. Of course some people will feed into it, listen, comment about it. Me ? I simply walk out of the room.

IJ is writing memories about Prince, Danni is saying that she is devastated that she can't afford to go home so her little brother is coming to her...she's ridiculous!! Prince was an icon, but she did not know the guy personally to be taking it this hard...she's crazy!!
