If they don't they'll just swith back to GA and try to leverage into MLSN. Competition is good now that GA+MLSN are working as s bundle the way ECNL was with both boys and girls being mandatory for clubs to play in ECNL girls.

Why is competition all of a sudden good in GA because of a partnership with MLSNext? What club have they added that's a real game changer? Is a McLean or Loudoun (team below NVA) stand alone GA team any better than the SC Surf teams?

Uhh yeah..NVA alone is a very solid pick up. And so is Charlotte independence.

ECNL does not equal good.

There are many many abysmal ECNL clubs.

NVA is a middling club (nationally) at best. Same with Charlotte. For GA, they will/could be a top half of the conference type club, but let's not kid ourselves that getting them in going to move the (GA) meter.

Midwest United too out of Grand Rapids MI.

Midwest is a lower third GA club (except their 2012s who appear to be very good), but I would imagine will fall into upper middle of the GA. Increases the Middle depth, but they are not of the caliber of the top end clubs in GA.

Midwest United also partnered with MI Rangers for this GA ... MI Rangers has a lot of good players. This combination of clubs for the the top teams at GA will make Midwest United a solid team in the Midwest.

That partnership has been ended when Midwest went to the GA, Michigan Rangers is going solo in ECNL-RL.

Quite a few MW high school age players also left at the announcement to join Hawks & Nationals.

are you sure about that? because yes MI Rangers are also doing ECNL-RL but they are also doing E64 (or Club Premier 1 as it's called now )... and the partnership seems still up on their sites. Also, The Hawks and Nationals are 2-1/2 hours one-way from Midwest United (i'm not saying kids don't do 5 hour round trips, plus 2 hours a practice 3x a week, but its not next door).

What happened to the NVA girls? Undefeated season all of a sudden tanking in the last 3 weeks

Don't think this the GA sales pitch they were intending on at NVA. Any insiders actually know how many girls per team they retained?

ECNL Team II - 17 Quality Players
ECNL Team III - 17 Quality Players
GA Team I - 12 Quality Players

GA Team IV - low level
GA Team V - low level
GA Team VI - low level

But It didn’t work out like that for 2012 and 2013 in the DMV. For 2011 and older perhaps but not for 2012 and younger.
