Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

Anonymous
Has Justin been complained about in about of his past gigs?

Seems like his other co-stars really liked him.

Blake on the other hand. . .

"60. On another day, Ms. Lively wore a low-cut dress to facilitate breast feeding, but had it covered up with a coat. When the jacket briefly popped open at one point to reveal the dress, Mr. Baldoni commented about how much he liked her outfit, which flustered Ms. Lively. Later that day, Mr. Baldoni pressured Ms. Lively (who was in her pre-approved wardrobe) to remove her coat in front of the crew and multiple background actors in a packed bar. He said that he wanted to see her “onesie” under the coat because it was zipped low to reveal her lace bra. Consistent with past practice, he said, “I think you look sexy” in a tone that made her feel ogled and exposed. With other female cast members present, she said, “that’s not what I’m going for.” He bristled and replied, “I’m sorry, hot.” Deeply uncomfortable, Ms. Lively said, “not that either.” Mr. Baldoni, responded sarcastically, “I guess I missed the HR meeting,” and walked away. Another woman on the production spoke to Ms. Lively afterward to offer empathy and to share her own similar experiences with Mr. Baldoni commenting about her in sexual terms."

There's so much of this I don't understand. Why were they in a packed bar? How does exposing your bra strap facilitate breast feeding? What the hell is a onsie, it's described as a dress? How does a jacket pop open? Whomever said this Complaint is well written is on drugs.

I don't know why they were in a packed bar, but I can answer the rest of your questions by reading the text.

Her bra strap was not exposed (in fact the words "bra strap" do not appear). She was wearing a lowcut dress (meaning a low neckline) which facilitates breastfeeding because you can pull the dress down to feed your baby.

The "onesie" is not described as a dress. The paragraph clearly states this was a second outfit, a costume for her character. She was wearing the dress earlier.

A onesie refers to an article of clothing that covers your entire torso. Like a bathing suit, but to be work under a skirt or pants. They are currently very common in fashion.

A jacket pops open if one of the buttons comes undone. This is more likely to happen if the jackets is right across the chest, something that can happen to a woman who is breastfeeding more frequently because your chest size fluctuates when you are nursing.

The person who wrote this was clearly not on drugs, but you need lessons in reading comprehension and fashion basics. Sorry this was too technical for you.

^ should read "jacket is tight"

Good point, have there been complaints about him from his earlier shows? It seems not.

There are men out there (another example is Dax Shepard) who are really trying to get men to be more vulnerable
and to openly talk about their struggles. They want men to feel less shame in general, so they lead by example and openly talk about their own stuff. That’s why JB wrote Man Enough and had that podcast. A part of treating an addiction is getting it out in the open. And many men struggle with porn addiction. Now we’re telling them if they talk about it it’s not just shameful but actually harassment.

She may have some legitimate claims but when you throw every little petty thing at someone it weakens the legitimate claims.

OMG. Do you understand the difference between willingly listening to a podcast and talking about your addiction at work? Should he bring up his porn addiction at Christmas dinner? Should he bring it up when checking out at the grocery store? No!

But, he's free to talk about it in group therapy or if a friend indicates s/he is willing to listen.

I can't believe that you think BL or any woman should be mocked for saying they haven't watched porn or want to talk about something like that.

This is absolutely why we can't have nice things.

Sorry I disagree. I’ve never really worked somewhere where I don’t have at least some relationships that are pretty open and where you can be yourself and joke around. It’s not every relationship, but it’s also not…never. It’s so dependent on the culture and the closeness of relationships and the conversations that are being had by everyone. I can see it being inappropriate or appropriate.

I don’t like the hard lines everyone is trying to draw.

They may not actually exist.

Again, why would BL make any of this up? She has nothing to gain.

She is saying her brands took a hit and the smear campaign resulted in dropping sales from her 2 drink lines and her hair products.

Sure she does. She has persistent issues with co stars, came off a dismissive jerk in multiple interviews, and needs to do something now that opportunities are not coming her way. She’s trying to make herself appear sympathetic. She also needs an explanation for why she totally usurped his role as the director.

The current ones seem to be the only ones. They've seen what she and Ryan are capable of. I'd stay out of the way of that too.

What’s funny is that this case has probably spawned convos about porn addiction across water coolers nationwide.
