He pulls out his gun and shoots JR, because JR is holding the knife and can easily be passed off as an intruder, and he realizes he can pin it on JR. But the shot doesn't kill him. At this point, the AP runs upstairs, sees the scene and calls 911 immediately. JR moans in the background of the call. BB frantically grabs the phone and hangs it up. He tells her to grab the other gun and shoot him because his mind is trying to grasp at ways to pin blame on other people. So, panicked, she does. Then she calls 911 back.

Basically the AP is telling the truth as she knows it. Which is why she isn't flipping, because she truly thinks it happened this way. BB is being silent because he knows he panicked and frantically tried to frame JR and then weirdly through the AP into the mix also- he didn't have any kind of coherent story in his mind yet when LE showed up at the scene which is why from the get go, he refused to say anything. He knew enough to keep his mouth shut until he had a story. Then, AP is interviewed for 8 hours and gives her story, which never changes, because it's her true story. She doesn't know that BB stabbed CB in rage when he walked in on their knife play fetish and then shot JR to pin it on him. He probably wished she'd stayed downstairs with the kid the whole time. Maybe that's also why he entered a relationship with her , if he was worried she'd start to get suspicious about the evening, and he thought that being in a relationship with her would keep her not questioning things.

That’s a way more evolved way of saying what I think it happened than the post I made. I don’t think he got into a relationship w AP just bc of that but also for revenge. Like I said, bring the girl that would piss her off the most into her bedroom.

Revenge on a dead person? To the detriment of a living child? And to his own potential criminal case given how terrible it looks? Nah, was about the rack not the revenge. And team BB set all of this in motion anyway.

You mean evidence like the fact that the messages exchanged online did not sound at all like CB’s writing and contained errors that perhaps a non native English speaker would make?

Or the fact that JR suggested knife play and the person he was communicating with assented, even though CB has a bleeding disorder that makes it extremely unlikely she would agree to that?

I think the knife idea was much more likely to have been raised by BB to get a patsy with a weapon. Not likely to have been raised by Joe who had a lot of sex but never used knives or CB for obvious reasons. BB was ordering up his fall guy in great detail.

CB deserved so much better than this prolonged plotting and scheming against her in her own home.

No, like LE and prosecutors have indicated all along, clear to anyone without some personal emotional driver that he is guilty. Plus, almost always the husband. Case has only built over time with the moving AP into master, etc.

I agree, could be plausible. Except after the murder, why wouldn’t he have told the Au pair to go back to Brazil? Seems like she could’ve skipped town soon after. Him starting (continuing?) a relationship with her looks terrible from a guilty standpoint (and makes him a terrible father even if he’s completely innocent in this). Also if the Au pair came running to the room when she heard shouting (so dumb), why didn’t he tell her to go get the child and leave the house?

If he really murdered his wife in a moment of rage and then murdered JR during the immediate aftershock as a cover up, he is probably feeling all sorts of fear and remorse and panic. He is probably terrified for his daughter, and maybe was actually listening to the child psych who reportedly, from a poster who knows them, told him to not make any big changes in her life. So didnt want to send AP to brazil right after her mom died. And they were having an affair beforehand, most likely, so continuing the affair was the path of least resistance. This is all obvious speculation.

- A set of ripped pajamas was recovered from the scene
- Pics of a knife, ropes, chains, rubber restraints were sent by JR to CB
- CB took selfie in a bathing suit and sent to husband. A few hours later sent the same selfie to JR with caption: "I sent this to my husband and he didn't even notice I lost 20 pounds"
- Judge questioned about the 45 min phone call over telegram that occurred between CB and JR
- After the phone call, JR texted: "It was great hearing your sexy voice"
- JR wrote that he had only done blood play once before, with razor blades
- CB had several superficial cuts that barely broke the skin
- JR was in the process of cutting CB with BB walked in
- CB wrote "trip to the zoo" on calendar
- CB had multiple lacerations to her neck and carotid artery. Three lacerations to the right side of her neck were the most likely the cause of death

Denied bond for two reasons.

Clearly BB thought that by smearing CB and JR in death, everyone would make him out a hero who rid the world of deviants. It must confuse him and Big Mama that so many, most importantly the authorities, see right through it all.

It was Christine's family that are LE? BB likely has other family members on the spath spectrum, there are genetic and environmental factors. The major thing that I have a trouble with in this line of thinking is that apparently its in the record that JR said that he has not had “knife play”.. I don’t know or really care what “knife play” entails. I do “know” this. The primary reason JR entered that house was not to “knife play”. JR was a man sneaking into that house thinking it was business time. And by business time, I mean sex.

Maybe the WP will do an update when the case is set for trial later this month. No chance the grand jury won't indict AP. When they covered a bond hearing in December they did so with a bit of delay but a lot of detail.

I was thinking about this and there’s just no chance this random guy, who had set up this meeting with his own name and no apparent attempt to hide anything decided to stab this woman to death and oops was confronted and shot by the husband and the au pair who oops happened to be together and oops immediately replaced her. It’s too insane. I think a jury will agree even if the physical evidence is confusing or limited.

Knowing all that we do and MUCH more, VA has not changed their theory of the case more than a year in. The charges against AP are moving toward trial and Chief Davis says the investigation is ongoing and they anticipate an additional arrest.
