Yes, obviously those are all pros in the DCPS column.

However, depending on where they landed, the kid cohort and expectations on them might be really different in DCPS vs. BASIS. So TBD if they will be happy with the move.

Yes there are constant fights, students walking out, and disrespectful towards teachers. There is a cliquish behavior amongst the adults. Not a welcoming community at all.

Many people in mcoa have left and won't return due to the retaliation if grade inflation is not followed. When will the union protect against retaliation and coercion to inflate grades at all costs. Also the security never arrives if called due to classroom questionable behavior.

My line of thinking is why should we stop talking about it if it is still a big problem. Teachers are leaving the whole profession because they don't see the problems ever being fixed. Why do you think we should brush this ussue under the rug. Are you admin or a union member?
