Compared to the witch we experienced at Beverly Farms who never got fired, it seems sudden. There were literally petitions about how horrible she was and yet nothing happened. I know she has young children. Is it possible she requested to return to be assistant principal to lighten the workload? I can only imagine how demanding this past year was for a principal, especially one with a you g elementary schooler.
That is not the case. It seems to me like she was not treated fairly in this process. Other principals have flailed for a lot longer and still have their jobs. The ones I know in that situation are male. Whether or not you like her, there should be consistency in how this process works. And when a principal fails, they typically put them in the last position where they were successful.
In this case, that’s an AP job, and that isn’t what she is doing. I assume they’re trying to keep her happy and are working together to find a mutually agreed-upon position. I also assume she has a lawyer, or at least is working with her union to challenge this. I don’t think Churchill is going to happen, obviously, but she might still be angling for another principal position. Who knows. If there’s any threat of a lawsuit at play, it would explain the overall silence.
