| Why are Loudoun players getting into better schools? Don’t the players come from the same neighborhoods? |
| I’ll say up front that I am not a fan of FCV and how the club has conducted itself. But let’s be honest on this college commitment talk. FCV class of 2020 college commitments was great (Duke, UVA, Penn State, VT, and a bunch more). Their class of 2021 not nearly as strong from a soccer school standpoint bc their team isn’t as good, but still they committed a lot of players to play soccer in college. Good for all those girls. Also great job to any girl that uses soccer to get into a school she really wants to go to. FCV class of 2022 will be stronger as that team is better and they’ve already had some commitments to strong schools. McLean commitments have been very strong for many years to top soccer and academic schools. Loudoun has committed a number of players over the same time frame but not as many as these other two programs. Some of this year FCV commitments were Loudoun players that were encouraged to move to FCV during the clubs’ partnership. It will be interesting to see what happens over time as ECNL seems like it will influence the local landscape and its not clear how strong of a college recruiting platform GA will be. |
They are focused on their egg heads and not on soccer. The FCV commits are going to top soccer programs, they aren't playing soccer just to get into U of Chicago. Probably why their teams smoke Loudoun. The FCV kids would have their choice of less competitive schools if they chose that route too. Be thankful with your few snowflake placements. |
So FCV players spend time getting in Techne soccer minutes instead of studying for school. That’s terrible. |
They actually do both. They just work harder than your kids. Don’t feel badly about it. |
Why would I feel badly? You take Quinnepek. I will take NW. |
|
Lol. I hear Duke and UVA are pretty good schools....
Can’t Loudoun Soccer parents stick to their 100 page threads on stealing other people’s money? |
They are, but not for your 2021 class. Maybe you can turn the program around. Good luck. |
| Are people seriously trying to compare Loudoun and FCV? Just stop. Seriously, stop now! FCV has had the top or 2nd best team in the area in every age group for the past two years. |

Cut to the chase. Just about every anti-LS post on this board is an FCV parent. Loudoun is deep in their heads. It’s weird.
Loudoun does not play FCV and is more focused on ECNL opponents. Nobody at LS is dwelling on FCV. FCV is like VAR, a nearby club. There is not much more to say. Yes there is a history but that was long ago. Happy Thanksgiving FCV. Wish you the best. |
I am not FCV and a former Loudoun parent and I agree with the negative posts about Loudoun. I have seen comments from other former Loudoun parents that agree. Cutting to the chase, it’s the Loudoun defender, aka you, who has FCV deep inside your head. Living rent free. So much so as you are trying to dominate a thread devoted to FCV. |
Of course you aren’t FCV - but you are posting here too. 😉 |
| It’s all 1 bitter person |
Wouldn't it be nice if, instead of the source "Anonymous", DCUM put in the IP address? That might help filter out the loons. |
VAR? As in Revolution? Interesting. Almost every game between Loudoun and Revolution has come out with the latter on top. Might want to rethink your strategy there?
