You are insane. This is a city issue that’s been ignored. Do Presidents coordinate trash pick up and clean up in American cities? You don’t care how these people are being forced to live in virtual dumps because their city officials do nothing.

Sorry for shouting, but CONGRESSMEN DON’T DO THAT EiTHER.

He lives there and doesn’t care about the conditions of his neighbors and does nothing? He’s a very powerful man. He could do a lot.

He does plenty but if what’s listed above is not the President’s job it’s not the Congressman’s job either. Trump is telling him exactly what he told the squad - clean up your own shithole before saying anything about my MAGA agenda. Just because Cummings is tasked with oversight of his kakistocracy including subpoenaing Javanka’s emails off their private server.

How about if Trump calls the city officials who aren't doing anything into his office and do his art of the deal thing where he gets them to agree to pick up the trash? Why wouldn't he want to do that? It would be great optics! Look, Trump is finally doing something concrete to improve the lives of people who live right next door to him! Or maybe Trump can show how much he cares by agreeing to go help in a volunteer clean up day. Here's are some clean up events he can join - would be great pr for him! https://www.eventbrite.com/d/md--baltimore/community-clean-up/

Surely Trump would love to help out these poor Americans living in such blight. Because he truly cares about them, right? At the very least he could send Melania their way.

lol how about this what aboutisim what did Obama due to fix these issues..... oh nothing yeah he did nothing

That is just perfect. Hat's off to whoever wrote that. Great respect.

Will it get rid of the rats though? No.

At least it will keep one rat from going to Baltimore.

I mean, they could use the opportunity to fix the problem. But acting offended makes more sense, I guess.

NO WORRIES! Trump is the BEST president for African Americans (the ones his tweet addresses). Because he is making sure they all have great jobs that pay living wages. Just you wait.

He pretty much called B’mirecresudents NONHUMAN. Psycho Prez. How is this a leader? Disgraceful leadership in the whites House

Happy to take it up. Have you ever seen what those people do to decent housing? I have with HUD funded programs. HUD buildings are even worse Kushner’s are at least market rate and he doesn’t have to take the dregs like HUD buildings.

Which people?

Tenants — try to keep up!

Tenants like these?

"The bedroom ceiling started leaking one day. Then maggots started coming out of the living-room carpet. Then raw sewage started flowing out of the kitchen sink. 'It sounded like someone turned a pool upside down. I heard the water hitting the floor and I panicked. I got out of bed and the sink is black and gray, it’s pooling out of the sink and the house smells terrible.' Cox stopped cooking for herself and her son, not wanting food near the sink. When she moved out soon afterward, Westminster Management [Kushner's property management company] sent her a $600 invoice for a new carpet and other repairs."

I assume when PP said "have you seen what those people do to decent housing" she was speaking of slumlords like Kushner. Those people are the worst.

Maybe Trump would make a good pest exterminator working for Orkin, but he sure as hell isn't cut out to be a president for the American people.

I've never been to Baltimore but have read a lot of DCUM posts that reference all the crime there and that the poster wouldn't want to live in Baltimore. I wish someone would explain why that's the case. Isn't Maryland a liberal thinking state? Why is there so much crime in Baltimore and why is it so segregated?

I'm going to spend all my free time until November 2020 creating a giant cross-stitch that says this:

Finally, while we would not sink to name-calling in the Trumpian manner — or ruefully point out that he failed to spell the congressman’s name correctly (it’s Cummings, not Cumming) — we would tell the most dishonest man to ever occupy the Oval Office, the mocker of war heroes, the gleeful grabber of women’s private parts, the serial bankrupter of businesses, the useful idiot of Vladimir Putin and the guy who insisted there are “good people” among murderous neo-Nazis that he’s still not fooling most Americans into believing he’s even slightly competent in his current post. Or that he possesses a scintilla of integrity. Better to have some vermin living in your neighborhood than to be one.
