I don't think we know LL. I think we know her characters and they are all kinda wholesome and dim so we think we "get her". I think her husband built a pretty successful brand and them as a couple can afford pretty good counsel. Its hard to totally right her off as having no strategy. I think it was time for FH to "tap out" but she was dealing with a different case that involved just her. LL and MG have bigger issues and I think its dim of us to assume they have NO idea what they are doing. I am sure their team has a course they have chosen to go down. How do you think she got her mini palette on the market? Not because she's some sort of makeup genius. It's because she comes from a very wealthy and well-connected family. Just like your friend Paris Hilton, who did not parlay her reality fame into a fortune. She parlayed a fortune into an even bigger fortune. The reality show was her vehicle.

Laughlin and her husband know what it takes to make it in their fields. I don't think they had faith that either one of their daughters has what it takes to be a star in the industry. Olivia Jade's success on Youtube was due to her looks and the fact that she came from a wealthy family. But vapid party girl will only get you so far in life. She maybe had a few years left before another pretty girl, maybe from an even better connected family, took away her followers. I think people are forgetting that this is not the state pressing charges but the FEDs. The FEDs has something like a 90% prosecution rate, The FEDs also no longer commute sentences, which means you have to serve the full term of your sentence. The FEDs have unlimited resources and therefore are not capped at how much further they can investigate to throw the book at Aunt Becky.

Aunt Becky has a great legal defense team but she made the stupid decision to think that the FEDs won't prosecute her because she was a beloved actress from Full House in the 90s. Felicity Huffman took her legal team's advice and therefore has such a lower sentence which will probably be house arrest. Felicity was indeed ashamed of her actions. Also, I really don't think people were as appalled by what Martha Stewart did. I mean ethically it might be the same, but to the average person the idea of posing your kids on a rowing machine to have them recruited for a sport they don't even play is just unimaginable.
