The past few PPs have been discussing violence in black neighborhoods. Please don’t be purposely obtuse. Again I ask: what is it that blacks would like whites to do about black people killing other black people? If we speak out about it, we’re called racists. If we say and do nothing, we’re accused of ignoring the problem. What exactly should white people do about violence in black communities and why are we blamed for it? What happened to "OUR COMMUNITY"? Black people, white people, Hispanic people, Asian people - we are all Americans together. What happens in Chicago or rural West Virginia matters to me, because it's OUR country. That's OUR community. When someone bleeds in Chicago or West Virginia, we feel pain across the country.

This is one of the biggest issues today: atomization of the American populace. Something happening on Fox News in Chicago doesn't resonate with most viewers because they don't see it as part of "their" existence. That is what is truly sad - people only view life thru the lens of their own curated bubble.

No one said all blacks live together. We’re talking about neighborhoods in which there is a lot of violence, perpetuated by and against blacks. And as predicted, you have no answer for what you want white people to do about it - other than accept the blame for this violence that has nothing to do with us.

We want all people to care about all people dying due to senseless crime. To care about anyone that violence touches. Can you do that? Is that an answer for you? Not matter what your race is, your should care about black on black crime, white on white crime, human against human crime. But no one seems to care about the crime that is disproportionately ripping apart the families of POC. That's what I want white people to do. Care about little children in the hood dying like you care about the overcrowding at the JKLM schools. Care about the 13 people who were shot

I never heard of her until just now. I object to her choice of language. But, she appears to be black. Can one black person be racist against another black person?
