ABC cancels 'Roseanne' after racist Twitter rant

ABC canceled its hit sitcom "Roseanne" on Tuesday after the show's biggest star, Roseanne Barr, went on a racist Twitter rant.
"Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show," ABC said. The cancellation comes just months after the show premiered to huge ratings.

Good job ABC. You should have never started this show giving racists a platform, but better late than never.

I have had ABC, CNN and The Hill pop ups on my ipad in the last 2 minutes. It’s real. And it would be really interesting to see what Fox would do if it was picked up. My guess if they have enough advertiser headaches with the racists they already have, and they are not looking to add more.

Sara Gilbert has denounced Roseanne's remarks. It would be interesting to see if she returns in case another network picks up the show.

Reading comprehension has never bean Trump cultist's forte. CNN contributor's only fault is she thought the trump supporters will read the article she retweeted (not said) to understand what it is talking instead of being spoon fed Fox interpretation.
