Hmmm .... I missed the part where Wolfe and/or SNL made "jokes" that compare African Americans to apes - a grotesque and racist slur. Or Wolfe who despite zingers, never used racism as part of her humor or commentary.

Zero equivalence. Zero.

Accusing the President of running a child sex ring is pretty bad

You understand that the President and his supporters repeatedly accused Clinton and members of her campaign of running a child pornography ring out of a pizza parlor in Washington, DC - right? And Trump and his supporters still allude to this bizarro conspiracy theory that was debunked but nonetheless prompted a Trump supporter to show up and shoot at the pizza parlor. Is there some alternate universe that you occupy that allows you to be so completely detached from your hypocrisy? FFS.

Twitter says that she was just fired by her talent agency. I can’t imbed the tweet. Interesting if it turns out to be true.

Don’t argue with crazies and trolls.

And that was really bad to liberals, right?

Any chance someone will also fire Don Jr. for retweeting Roseanne?

I enjoyed the show, but the comment was way, way, way out of line. ABC had no choice. The comment was terribly offensive. No defending it.

I actually thought the show was well done and showed bigotry is a complicated issue. The show did not support bigotry and it is sad that she made that comment and/or thinks that way.

This comment is terribly offensive. I think some comments others have made--while not racist--are also very offensive. But, this comment rises to a whole other level.

Arguing with Trumpkins is like mud wrestling with a pig. Don't do it.

In the wake of Roseanne being fired, here's the Right's newest talking point:

Why hasn't The View been canceled? And that Joy Behar?!?! They are a bunch of bigots!

They won't even condemn Roseanne's racism. Instead, it's all about how they are victims of "PC culture."

Nope, this is Capitalism at play. ABC clearly understood that supporting Roseanne would be bad for its broader business practices. You think racism is good for the more modern Disney brand? Or ESPN?

They should publicly state their disapproval of Barr's comments. If not, then they should suffer the media backlash.

Celebrity is a privilege, not a right. Celebrities need to behave or else Hollywood should blacklist them. We don't need her or her show. No more chances for Barr. Buh-bye.

What venom did Wolfe spew? She was calling out lies by a lying administration. There were no racist or personal attacks.
