Same for other Ivys. Getting rid of student loans will hurt mostly upper middle class kids that do not qualify for aid.
May not be so easy or beneficial to US to take the research money away from experts. Again that is something that will hurt the upper middle class. Lower income and wealthy people are not impacted by federal funds.

Frankly, its not clear the school will care. There just will be less of the unprotected class of upper middle class students.

H and S are the only two schools that MAY still say fine due to the size of the endowment.

Universities will lose federal funds for non-compliance so that is a big deal. Everything (almost) comes down to money.
