OMG - HILARIOUS!! We should come up with a bunch of storylines to keep the madness coming.

Kathryn runs off with her drug dealer to Vegas - and win big at the craps table! Landon and TRav get married - but she has problems getting pregnant. Shep and Naomie have a secret affair. Craig takes and passes the bar. Hahaha!

Then, the newly sorted gang is invited to a dinner at Patricia's house, and Thomas gets even drunker than usual. The next camera shot reveals that him sobbing into Pat's lap the next morning after the two have spent the night together; Pat gives him a no-nonsense command to go get her breakfast martini, and Thomas humbly does so. Pat becomes the new Kathryn of the show, clashing repeatedly with Landon and Cam, and giving Craig some sharp-tongued life advice, to which he responds with a "Yes, ma'am, I'll pass the bar ASAP"--and then he does it. Thomas is completely subdued and changed because he has finally met a woman who can take charge and won't stand for his shenanigans, and the two end up winning custody of Kathryn's kids, but Kathryn doesn't care because she's knocked up by her new drug dealer lover. Pat disowns Whitney because she has hopes of doing better raising her second batch of kids (TRav's progeny) better, and the show ends with Whitney drunkenly sobbing on his knees in the street outside of Pat's house, with TRav watching him from behind closed curtains.

Thomas redeemed himself in the last episode but of course he abandoned Kathryn and made an ass of himself again.

I hope Kathryn takes names at that reunion...

I've only watched this season -- do we know from previous seasons whether Landon actually slept with Thomas?

Kathryn looked like an actual crazy person at the ball, but she's perhaps 10% less crazy if they did hook up and have repeatedly lied about it (not that it seems like she was ever officlally with Thomas but it would suck to have your baby daddy lying to your face).

I'm surprised you guys think there's hope for Kathryn. Girl has been personality disordered since day one. Slept with 3 cast members in one week to get on the show, lied to everyone's face about it until she no longer could, then, after a legit pregnancy scare in which Thomas sealed his fate by pledging he would always take care of her if she were pregnant, did away with all pretext of birth control and got pregnant to snag a man. When that didn't work, she tried for another kid. And yes Thomas is culpable blah blah but as a woman, especially a single one, birth control is on YOU. She had those kids for a specific purpose, to lock down a ring and the Ravenel name, and when it all backfired on her she went even more HAM. She will never have shame about this! This is her! She truly feels she's some wise old soul who sees through everyone's bullshit and "calls it like it is."

Look Cam is sanctimonious and Landon is a floundering dilettante but their behavior doesn't even come CLOSE to the level of embarrassing that Kathryn's has. And not for nothing, neither of them are locked in a custody dispute that just got their kids handed over to their dad because of a failed drug test. So let's not kid ourselves- girl is a mess on and off camera.

She can't take names at the reunion because she's burnt. She can't say anything to anyone that they can't come back at her for with something 10x worse. She's going to try to slut shame Landon and it won't work.

Kathryn doesn't have a job and her hair is a wreck so she can't come for Cam. She's not wealthy and able to get by on family money so she can't come for Shep or Whit.

Completely agree with 6:40! I honestly don't see what people see in Kathryn. What are her good qualities? It seems she's incapable of going to a social gathering without making a scene, dropping profanities left and right, and getting awfully haughty when she thinks people don't give her her due. Why would anyone give her respect? She doesn't seem to respect herself or anyone else very much for that matter. I guess I think she may deserve some pity because she's not a happy, stable person but she is without a doubt a big mess and I don't blame anyone for not wanting to have anything to do with her.

Maybe it's a function of age. I've gotten to the point where I realize that having people with that much drama as a part of your life is a choice (if they're not your family).
