People are just guessing. Jim bob and Michelle are listed as the parents of four of the victims in the police report. The victim names are redacted. |
+ 1 I agree with you. I do not understand why there is such glee? I think it is victimizing the victims again. I also find it odd that it was not the victims who made it public, so the timing is very suspect. BTW - just so you know - I am not a Christian. I am married female, a mom and a registered democrat. |
And fact and reality... NP here. |
Whoever's fault it is, and whoever is or is not taking glee from the Duggar downfall, their influence and their show need to be cancelled immediately! |
Four were his siblings. One was his babysitter, sleeping on the sofa. In the police report the addresses are listed. |
Police report lists 4 of the victims as living in the duggar house. He had 5 female siblings at the time. The non-victim sister is described as nearing ged completion, which leads to the conclusion that it was one of the eldest. That means both the 4 and 8 year old were touched. |
Ok so a pedophile in making.. disgusting.. ugh- I so hope this is a wake-up call. |
Josh is the oldest and he was 14. No one under the age of 14 would have been nearing GED completion. 16, 17, okay. But not under 14. |
The police report was years later. They were older then. |
BING-fucking-GO. |
Yes, the report was about 3 years later. |
First he was closer to or already 15. By his own admission today it was 12 years ago. He is 27 now. Second, I cannot fathom anyone making excuses for him. Most child molesters have horrible backgrounds. Many were abused themselves. Why is anyone making excuses for him? It also happened a second time AFTER he definitely knew it was wrong. His sisters knew it was wrong that is why they told. Horrible situation all around. Stop making excuses. The man that momested honey boo boo's sister likely had a horrible childhood is that excusable too? Catholic priests ok too? Would you let 15 year old Josh Duggar be around your 4 year old knowing "he just had a bad upbringing?" |
This is what happens when you have 20 kids or whatever ridiculous number they are up to. Statistically speaking at least one of them is going to be totally screwed up. I do wonder if the lack of normal sexual development because of their religious beliefs contributed to his actions.
Regarding the rod issue. In the police report, they ask if being hit with the rod ever left bruises and the child responded "no". Maybe that's why they weren't investigated for child abuse. |

+1 also he was 15. Not far from the age he was when he started "courting" his wife. |
