Dad waited a year to report the crime. And was also pretty nonresponsive when police tried to follow up. So hard to read linked articles on posts, isn't it? |

Articles say his victims have "forgiven" him/ How much you want to bet that they were pressured, manipulated, shamed, guilted, or forced to do so?
I fail to understand how anyone - even before this story came out - could think of them as a wholesome family. The Quiverful movement is disgusting, and I'm sure there are many, many more skeletons in the Duggar closet. |

He and his church buddies took Josh to see someone they were acquainted with who happened to be a cop who "gave him a stern talking to" and sent them home without doing anything. I'm sure they knew that's exactly how it was going to go from the outset. When the police actually tried to investigate it later he did everything he could to impede the investigation. |
