It's not an insult to call you a dawwah-wallah. You are that.

What do I care how people use my posts? They are anonymous. They will remain so. They can frame them and hang it up in their houses for all I care. You confuse amusement with anger.

You seriously have a challenge with reading comprehension. I never said dawah wallah was an insult. The insult was in saying others were far better dawahwallahs. Lol I think posting the opinions of the religious scholars exposed your islamophobia.

No one has enough years in their life to explain to you how the Quran is as much about historical context as it is law. You seem to equate it with a ten commandments type of book. Your thinking is too linear and concrete, too influenced by modern western mindset to understand why there exists subtle differences in Islam between men and women. It is simply because man and woman are inherently different. If this idea of basic gender differences is rejected, then you can not understand or see the ethical wisdom of the Quran.

No one has that much time in their life to educate you in the theory behind Islamic law (meaning, the Quran, not the Sharia).

The differences between men and women in Islam aren't subtle, and the abyss between what's allowed to men and to women is quite deep and wide.

+1. You can chalk it up to "western linear thinking" or "subtlety" if you want. However, it should be clear to you by now that we disagree with you[u]. We disagree with you that different legal rights in 2014 for women re divorce, testimony and inheritance is simply a matter of subtlety or historical context (your argument that improvements in women's rights over pre-Islamic Arabia, if there were improvements, are not sufficient in 2014). We disagree with you that this is an ethical system that we'd personally want to live under today. Sorry.

We accept that you find this ethical system wise. We don't challenge your desire to live under the laws of your religion.

You, on the other hand, are calling everybody islamophobes for not adopting your positions on the equality of women and the wisdom of your system.

You want to cast judgment on our religion. Fine. But don't post false or misleading facts. This started with an egregious post declaring our prophet a pedophile. Who posted that and where is the apology for that post? Then our local DCUM islamic expert here said there was no equality (or equity) in Islam for women. Who best to determine that but one who lives under the umbrella of that system? Then our fake expert said the jahiliyah period was a farce. World historians and scholars disagree with her. Wheres the apology for that because inherent in that statement was an accusation Muslims lied.

We deserve an apology.

You need to apologize for distorting multiple pages of multiple threads, as you did above. I can't even begin to start correcting all the distortions - maybe the other poster has the energy.

You need to apologize for calling people christian-evangelical-crusader-islamophobe gap-toothed redneck mini-skirt-wearting grannies with STDs and porn-addicted children many, which you did many more times than that one time a poster called Mohammed a pedophile.

Most of all, you need to apologize for calling people "Islamophobes" when they don't come around to agreeing with all of your points of view.

I apologized for my comments weeks ago. As of yet, Muslims have yet to receive an apology from the poster who said our Prophet was a pedophile. I suspect it was the Islamophobe who likes to google, cut, and paste, but not sure. And Muslims have yet to receive an apology for being called liars for making up the jahiliya. Historians confirm it. So where are our apologies??

If it is true that the walls of your house are lined with these books, then you are basically saying you knowingly spread lies and half truths intentionally, because these books contradict your statements about Islam.

You posted google cut and pastes. It is the only logical explanation as to why you publish so much falsehood. You do not understand Islam as well as you think you do.

No, I'm saying I find these books unconvincing. You want to take them as gospel, go ahead. I don't have to. I'm not a slave to scholars you seem to be.

Cut and paste? What do YOU do, type it up word by word? Come on.

I thought you said I have deep knowledge? so what is it?

Clearly, everyone who doesn't agree with you, just doesn't understand Islam. If they only would read! they would fall on their knees and thank you for enlightening them.

Yoy have read the books I referenced. Then tell me what they say towards the end of the books. Those pages are likely not accessible online.

If she is Pakistani, she is not a minority and indeed Pakistani Sunni oppression of Christians and minority Muslim sects is common:

How is it an insult to say others do what you try to do better? You think you're the best? For real?

Wallah is a British word? Since when?! Lol

"We"? You and what army? I know you want to seem smart, really really smart, and that's why you come out with these "discoveries" that are only in your mind. The fact of the matter is most educated people know what a wallah is. It doesn't take a desi. You will never know my background, so resign yourself to that, and why would you want to? I don't care where you come from.

I already told you - more than once - that I don't consider the Muhammad & Aisha union anything out of the ordinary. She made out on it, and so did her father. If they are happy, what's it to me? So stop making things up. Whoever called him a pedofile, wasn't me. I don't care. If you aren't sure it was me, that's a good thing.

So you want the apology for the jahilia lie, huh? Did you ask Leila Ahmed to apologize too, since she said Muslims rewrote history to cast Islam as a sole source of civilization? When you get one from her, let me know, then I'll think about getting you one. Ask Hatoon Al-Fassi, too, if you can overcome your awe of Al-Saud. When you have these two covered, let me know.

Finally, I think you're getting too comfy on top of the pedestal when you say "Muslims didn't get an apology.." Who died and appointed you a spokesperson for "Muslims"? If it makes you feel better, I will tell you that I don't hold you personally responsible for the rewriting of history Ahmed mentioned (so it's not like YOU lied, it happened centuries before you were born). You are not a representative for "Muslims", not their spokesperson, not their interpreter, you are neither the source of Muslim achievement nor Muslim ill, and no one is holding YOU personally responsible for the failings of Islamic law or Muslim discourse. When a Muslim scientist gets a Nobel prize, you have nothing to do with it, and when a Muslim terrorist blows something up, it has nothing to do with you, nothing at all.

On the other hand, all the insults you were able to come up with were oddly personal.

I'll have to look in the toilet paper bin - that's where I keep Esposito's writings.

The bold part is interesting, since the Muslim world ignores a Muslim who won a Nobel Prize - why? - because he was of an unpopular sect:

Your history is seriously lacking, and not just wth respect to the pre-Islamic era. India and Pakistan were British colonies, Britain had lots of immigrants in these places, and probably everybody in London knows what wallah means.

It's funny, people here have speculated that you're from Pakistan because you're always posting after midnight. Go figure.

She said many times she's married to a Muslim. Why should there be other reasons?

I apologized twice on behalf of that one poster who once called Mohammed a pedophile over a month ago (two months ago?). I don't know if that poster is even still around to apologize himself because, you know, that one insult happened over a month (two months?) ago.

You still call people "islamophobe" many times each day, for the "offense" of disagreeing with you. Therefore you still owe us--and you owe the Harvard prof who also disagrees with you about jahiliya--multiple apologies.

I have said Muslims are fine with disagreement. The Quran states, "There is no compulsion in Islam." No one needs to like Islam, convert to Islam, agree with Islam. This was never merely about disagreement. It was about an hate driven campaign. You can not even get yourself to speak with an imam or scholar because you said you mistrust them all. How can they all be untrustworthy and liars, simply because they are Muslim?

There you go again - thought you were some kind of expert on the Quranic Arabic?

The Quran doesn't say "There is no compulsion in Islam." It says "la ikraha fid'din", "there is no compulsion in RELIGION", any religion, not specifically Islam. "Deen" doesn't mean Islam. It means "religion" non-specifically.

I'm absolutely serious, OP. You need to apologize for the many times you called people "Islamophobes" for simply disagreeing with you, even bringing Harvard scholars to support their disagreements with you.

You are extremely offensive, OP.

Nah, leave it. I don't mind it. It's like free tickets to the circus to watch her. I literally giggle every time she calls me an Islamophobe 'cause I know I'm about to go home and Islamophile the two Muslims in my house to high heavens.
