ICE Shooting in Minneapolis

Fox news (local affiliate I think) had video (and I was impressed by the news anchors showing it). I've had physical contact from a vehicle at least twice I can think of where the vehicle was going faster than this, for example a woman turning right on red while I was crossing a street with the light, she was on a phone. It was weird because her car pushed at me and somehow I was trying to push back, it sort of pushed me out of the way without me so much as losing my footing (and then she realized what she was doing and yelled an apology out the window). It looks like a one way street, cars parked same direction on both sides of residential street, and Minnesota streets are narrower in the winter than when there is no snow, Tricia says "rioters" but there are just a small number of civilians here and there, no signs, and some may just be from the neighborhood. Looks like she had probably been parked on the street earlier which would mean she would be a local resident. It does NOT look like she is trying to run anyone over, but they are moving to her vehicle as she is maneuvering.

This was a targeted investigation and she was not the target.

You ca see blood on the snow and what looks like a woman bystander leaning into the vehicle to try to help her, and white clothing with blood on in underneath the woman leaning in.

ICE has repeatedly acted with excessive force towards people who have been literal bystanders (like the guy who got pepper sprayed in his face along with his baby trying to leave Sam's Club after realizing ICE was in the area and it was not a good time to shop) and alleged assault from people they have bumped into.

Why was she there? What were intentions?

I guess we'll never know since they chose to execute her on the spot.

You Monday morning quarterbacks are HILARIOUS. How many life threatening situations have you been in? Have you ever actually held or fired a gun?

Why was his gun out?? There was zero reason for him to have his gun out. ICE is nothing but a gang of trigger happy thugs.

That woman driving was given a lawful order to exit her vehicle and she did not. The officers moved to remove her and he was ensuring they were covered in case she started put them in danger. He did everything right.

Thank goodness for all the people who follow ICE and record them. They are the true patriots.

It's also inexcusable that the ICE agents did not rush to render aid. They had zero regard for her life.

Stay out of the way with a sign & yell to your heart's content, but don't endanger the health or safety of anyone when protesting.

Even if this were true, blocking a road isn't a death sentence.

Correct. However, using car as a weapon--whether intentional or recklessly--is illegal and can justify the use of deadly force.

This is a tactic these protestors use against ICE. They drive in front of their vehicles to block roads as she did.

I wonder what she was saying in the car. It looks like she was trying to wave them through.

I genuinely don't understand how people can watch the same video and come to these conclusions. They jumped out of the car yelled conflicting statements at her. And shot her within seconds.

So I guess you would have been ok with all of the J6ers being shot and killed that day at that time. Pretty sure they were interfering with the discharge of duties.

Wow. I can't believe ANYBODY could defend this shooting. It was disgusting. Full stop.

Can you provide a timestamp and link to where you heard conflicting orders? You can’t because that didn’t happen.

Can’t wait for the montage of the many May times ICE agents have behaved with absolutely brazen recklessness with their vehicles in crowds of peaceful, lawful protestors.

This looks to be a marginal shoot at best. But officers of the law tend to receive a wide berth because they show restraint in situations most of us wouldn't even engage in. Just stopping a driver is incredibly dangerous. This is why whenever I'm around an officer of the law I behave like a whipped dog. It's the best way to be safe around them.

I've watched enough police body camera videos to understand both the incredible risk they take in situations we'd all walk away from, and the risk that entails to anyone engaging on the other side as well.

They are not police and have no level right to stop a citizen. Also ICE can only operate within 100 miles of the border.

And if these morons had any training, they would know how to deal with the public, but they don't and think they can just shoot people.
