As a Marylander, I would rather set myself on fire than to vote for Wes Moore. He is an empty suit. If you want your child sitting in a classroom with criminals with ankle bracelets, then he is your guy. Governor Moore talks tough but is soft on crime and other crucial issues concerning Maryland. |
| I vote for Jeff Jackson AG and former senator from NC. He has a military background. charismatic straight white guy with a charming family. Did great on TikTok while he was a senator. |
I dont know him but support someone like this as an achetype. Can the left get around someone like this to counter Vance? |
Google the word “hostile” bro; I didn’t. |
| Anyone pro-choice D who can win PA, MI, WI, AZ and GA. Mark Kelly, Andy Brashears, Josh Shapiro. Gretch would be a good VP candidate as she’s shown she can win in a purple state. |
If you look at the original thread, Whitmer couldn’t win DCUM. Her childish videos did her in. I’m from Michigan and she’s lost a lost of credibility. |
Relative to Trump and Biden, Whitmer would be a godsend in The White House. Signed DCUM |
| Don't be silly we aren't having a 2028 election |
You aren't having a 2028 election because your coward butt is going to hide in your basement not voting while the country elects people who have no business being POTUS like we did in 2016, 2020, and 2024. |
2028 is the Dems to lose. A win for them does not mean American support for them so much as a reaction against Trump. Just like Trump 2.0 was a reaction to Biden, etc. There is not strong support for either major party just a balancing out of crazy. Dems need someone the general population actually likes not just who Dems like. The real test is 2032. This thread is NOT supposed to be about names. It is supposed to be about archetypes. Gretchen Whitmer failed. She was a good candidate until she let people see the crazy leak out of her bottle. Stop letting Trump live rent free in your head and get serious or you’re going to be responsible for another political mess. At which point, you might as well be GOP/MAGA. |
No one said Whitmer appears to be a great a candidate. We're just saying anyone with a pulse will be better than Trump and Biden. Looking forward to see which candidates rise to the top during the 2028 primary. That's when it counts. We need a repeat of the 2008 primary. |
Mark my words: he WILL be the 2028 candidate! |
This ICE disaster is giving Walz new life. |

It doesn’t really matter, unfortunately. The Democratic Party has no backbone and has demonstrated over and over and over again that it lacks the internal will to do what should be done to eventually hold individuals accountable for the destruction occurring right now. None of them will be held accountable.
The party pick will win in 2028, and then promptly find the door again in 2032. Others have said it, but this realization really came into focus during the Obama administration. Strike 1 involved the corrupt, influential voices behind the scenes in the Democratic Party allowing the Neocons to escape prosecution in 2008. They should have faced war crime tribunals following OEF and OIF, but instead, weak losers with big voices convinced the Obama administration that playing the kumbaya card would pay off - it didn’t. Strike 2 involved the absolute capitulation embodied by Michelle Obama’s “when they go low, we go high” malarkey. That oblivious mantra played a much bigger role in the breaking of the Democratic Party than most people realize. It signaled to those paying attention that Democrats are ultimately beta cucks who won’t fight back. And Strike 3 was the outcome of RBG’s refusal to retire and the pathetically weak majority leadership in Harry Reid’s final days in the Senate. Surprise, surprise - Chuck Schumer was too busy trying to jockey for control to bother with fighting back against McConnell, who was 10x his better anyway. And that’s no compliment of Mitch, but a full-on indictment on what a POS Chuck (Cuck?) really is. It doesn’t matter who is picked by the Party for 2028. They will almost certainly win, then lose in 2032 and I guess everyone can expect the Republicans to finish whatever tasks remain to cement control of what’s left of our government thereafter. Dark times, indeed. |
Moore is THE WORST! |
