Do you hear their representatives being vocal in DC or in their states about the issue? No, because they only care about themselves. Actions have consequences. Folks were warned what theirs would be. They didn’t listen so clearly they are okay with dealing with the consequences. |
Of course he was special. He was a Trump voter and expected to be rewarded for his loyalty. This is quickly going to turn into a McKinley situation- just watch |
Anyone who paid the least bit attention to what Musk did at Twitter would have know slash and burn is his MO. I will admit I was surprised by the slashing and burning of whole departments, but it was clear the slashing and burning was coming. |

There is another thread on this topic, but if we're collecting them here I thought it should be added. Jesse Waters, Republican, has a friend who was DOGEd (apparently they're using it as a verb over at Fox) and now he says it's time to be less callous because this Veteran wasn't a DEI hire (but was he?) or someone working on a climate initiative. https://www.yahoo.com/news/jesse-watters-doge-until-cuts-145538244.html |
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA. ![]() |
In 2017 wet foot dry foot was ended, thanks to my main man Pres. Obama (Chief Deporter in Charge) He did this because when Cuba loosened restrictions which allowed people to leave they started showing up by the boat, bucket and plane full, which wasn't fair to all of the other hopeful wannabe immigrants waiting patiently in line.Plus why are we still allowing them preferential treatment anyway since the whole communism thing kind of left Cuba in a much diminished capacity and the Bay of Pigs, was like almost 70 years ago. Time to give it a rest. Also, it's almost like he had a crystal ball or something and knew the Cubans were becoming a huge pain in the azz, and they are all ungrateful Republians anyway. In Jan. 2023 Biden opened the 2 year temporary humanitarian parole program to Haitians, Nicauraguans, Venezuelans and Cubans. In theory this status allowed for a pathway to full citizenship, in exchange they weren't allowed to apply for assylum, and either would have had to have granted citizenship in that time, or been granted a waiver to stay. Well on Jan. 20, 2025 Trump reversed it all and now these folks have to leave. There is no more temporary program so there is no way to extend. Now these people were actually vetted and did have sponsors in this country. These people weren't here illegally, but their status was tenuous and not guranteed. I'm fairly certain that Harris would have extended the status but Trump made it pretty clear he was haveing nothing to do with it Remember the Haitians eating dogs, and the Venezualans raping and killing propaganda. Well I guess the Cubans thought they were safe, although not quite certain why the Venezualans did? So basically all the law abiders are getting deporter and that leaves the asylum seekers, also law abiding even if not actually technically eligible for assylum, and the people who just jumped, swam over the border. Basically in my opinion this all comes down to FAFO and not understanding the history of this country. You see the Cubans and SouthAmericans thought I'm safe because I'm white, but in actuality since no one is perfoming a paper bag test, and the Trumpers don't care because if you have an accent you are just as brown or black as the Haitians so you got to go too. So sorry for this guys tears and sadness but if he'd have asked me I'd have said the xenophobes don't want you because well you aren't white enough. So you better hold your nose and vote for the Black woman, and every Democrat down the ballot. Because if Trump wins he's going to deport all of your undocumented, and paroled cousins aunts, uncles and parents too. So as to be predicted, and as was promised, this particular group of people the parolees, the lowest hanging fruit, is in lockup and awaiting transport on the next boat/plane back to where they from. Maybe he learned a lesson, and I don't mean when you get the chance vote Dem, cause that's too much like logic, rather the lesson learned is don't fall for promises of a legal pathway, just hire a coyote to smuggle you over the boarder, where you can spend your days in Little Havana living the dream. |
Of course he's a DEI candidate as Veterans are given preferential status in hiring over just about every other group trying to get a first time job with the Feds. If the Vet didn't vote for Trump well I do feel bad for him. Vets have a hard time getting jobs in the private sector hence the need for the preferential treatment. Yes it's affirmative action and DEI for Vets. A Vet can apply for a job in which he's only minimally qualified and still be given prefernce over a more qualified candicate. So yes, he was most definitely a DEI hire. That's the problem really though isn't it? Even after his friend gets fired he can't call it by it's name. AA for Vets. DEI for Vets, Set asides for Vets, Preferential treatment for Vets. Per the playbook all DEI is bad, no exceptions. If you can't level the playing field for other diverse candidates who may be even more qualified well then you can't level the field for anyone. That's what they asked for isnt' it no more reverse discrmination or something like that. |
This is good. ![]() |
Not the whiney it wasn't supposed to happen to me, but to that other guy. ![]() |

Right, but it Needs to be seen within context of the exchange: Poster 1 implied through his question that it was wrong because caller only called because it was a MAGA owner and wouldn’t have done it if car had been a democrat’s. Poster 2 refuted this. But yes, it’s wrong to park regardless of sticker, and wrong if it affects your decision whether to call or not. |

My xH is FBI and a huge Trump supporter. He did some of the investigation on the Jan 6 guys and told people in secret that he didn’t think they did anything wrong.
Whelp, now he’s on the list of FBI agents Trump requested and he’s freaking out. Suddenly it’s “they broke the law! I was doing my job!” 4 years away from retirement, too. Bye bye pension. So sad. |

Laid-off IRS employee said he had voted for Trump: "I thought that someone with his business acumen would have come in with a fine-tooth comb and actually found it instead of coming in with a wrecking ball and destroying people’s lives for no reason." |
What is this vaunted business acumen they speak of? Bankrupting a casino? |
