Their representatives do care about them.  When they receive calls from their constituents, they hear.

These people should call their representatives.  Their representatives can make changes.  The current budget battle is huge and these calls will have an impact.[/quote]

Do you hear their representatives being vocal in DC or in their states about the issue? No, because they only care about themselves.  
Actions have consequences.  Folks were warned what theirs would be. They didn’t listen so clearly they are okay with dealing with the consequences.[/quote]
