This.

Since he never pays for anything himself and has likely never been to a grocery store or Walmart in his life, he has no clue.

Trump doesn’t like Trudeau.

All part of Trump’s vengeance tour.

Yes, did you see how Melania looked at Justin?

Oh well. Super easy caveats.
Gtfoh.

Great, so US consumers bear the brunt in the form of higher prices. Brilliant.

Ah, well. The "salt of the earth" MAGA should enjoy tarriffs

The washing-machine industry provides an example. When the US first imposed China-specific duties in 2017, manufacturers simply shifted production to Thailand and Vietnam. Only after the US enacted global tariffs in 2018 did Samsung and LG build American factories. While this eventually achieved the political goal of creating US jobs, it required comprehensive trade protection and came with higher prices for consumers

But modern vehicle production is far more complex. When the Trump administration imposed tariffs on Chinese auto parts in 2018, it did not protect American jobs at all. Instead, it raised costs for US automakers who relied on imported components. Higher input costs led to slower export growth and job losses in affected industries.

Trump believes nothing about anything. He just says what he thinks his supporters will like to hear.

Sure. Trade wars always are predictable. Imposing tariffs on Mexico and Canada means leave USMCA. You can look up what that is.

He is bluffing. SMH. People on here are a special kind of dumb.

Let's see what the markets say tomorrow. I'm already so tired of this policy by "truth."

Futures are currently red.

Stock market is soaring today as I predicted. Dems wrong about yet another thing.

It’s not soaring. The Dow is down 200 points, and the Nasdaq and S&P 500 are slightly up but on the same trajectory they’ve been on for a year plus.

Oh so the markets know more than you bozos in this thread and aren’t phased at all and know it’s a negotiating tactic? Got it. Thanks for playing.

Right, the business genius who went bankrupt running casinos and basically kills everything he touches is playing 12-dimensional chess and we're all just idiots because we don't see his "vision". GMAFB

Is this the same business genius who got elected to a second term after everyone in the MSM called him a Nazi, he fought multiple court cases, and dealt with smears that he was a Russian agent for 8 years?

Maybe the Dems should try to unironically play 12-dimensional chess and win a national election next time?!

All this tells me is that a lot of Americans are either stupid or don't care about having a felon, dictator for POTUS if it means they think their bank accounts will get fatter.

Or they're thinking Treasury will draft a better executive order and he'll sign it without reading it.

I am looking forward to the elimination of income taxes all together to be replaced by a VAT.

It will crush the working classes, but people like me and the billionaire will do great.

Cell phones right now are the new toilet paper for panic buying.

Yes it is time to switch over to a vat. Think the projected vat would be 45% on most stuff. It would wash out because there would be no federal
Income tax.

What about me? I am working class and voted for Harris. What should I do? Do you even care?

DP but yes I do care about you.

My empathy is entirely reserved for the Harris voters who will be hurt by Trump’s policies and the blue dots having their rights taken away in red states.

I have absolutely no care in the world what happens to MAGA supporters. In fact I hope they get everything they voted for.

What’s super awesome about the tariff plan is that companies will be able to apply for an exemption. This means that companies that publically support Trump, both financially and in the press, will get these exemptions.

So, basically open bribery.

Really making America Great Again!

But that also means the burden of the federal government falls on the working stiffs. A VAT for the wealthy, particularly those who don't buy much, is a huge windfall.
