So much for cars, produce and most of what people buy at Walmart and Target. I guess their bribe wasn't enough.

And exactly what is the problem with this?

That you will pay more for everything. You think things are expensive now? Just wait.

Nope, just certain imported items. Just more incentive to produce them stateside like we used to.

Make "Made in USA" great again. The man is businessman.

Yeah. The democrat globalists hate this. They demand their cheap Chinese crap Screw their own US workers.

If you have enough money that a 25 percent increase in cost for nearly everything is insignificant to you, great for you. The problem is that some of us are already struggling and that kind of cost increase without a corresponding increase in pay will result in people who were able to meet basic needs being unable to do so.

I feel like Canada is like "wait how did we get involved in this?" right now. What DID Canada do to deserve this?

Prices on almost everything rose by over 50-100+% in the last 4 years. Just saying.....

You are not too bright. It will not be a 25% increase.

And there will be supply and demand impacts that there will be other suppliers.

Don’t fall for globalist propaganda

Not 25% more. And you could pick US manufacturers instead. And US workers will get more jobs.

What is wrong with that ?

Trump started the reindustrialization of America, although Democrats don't like to give him credit for that. Biden has made a lot of progress, although Republicans don't like to give him credit for that.

These tariffs are just dumb. There are plenty of good ways to incentivize buying American and incentivize wage growth (which is inflationary). Then there are bad ways, such as this.

Trump doesn’t like Trudeau.

All part of Trump’s vengeance tour.

Your stateside items are going to cost you more too. Our American businesses aren't going to lose profits just to be made in America, and that doesn't even cover the cost of paying American workers.

Canada has their own issues. They opened the borders to Indian immigrants and paying the price

Now Trudeau is forced to slash immigration because of voter feedback.
