They would still be better off than you.

Tweens don’t go to HOCO.

There is a vast difference between a 12/13 year old and a 17/18 year old and what is appropriate.

I am willing to be that these “never my daughter moms” have 10 year olds, don’t belong posting in this forum, and are in for a rude awakening in 6 more years….

The other “never my daughter” higher than thou moms are the ones whose daughters are odd and are trying to make themselves feel better about it by looking down on the girls that are enjoying their youth by *gasp* wearing a short tight dress…

True. And others will be doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers, etc…

What a girl wears to homecoming does not impact her intelligence or future. Worry about your own children, not ours.

It is actually sort of comical. Every mother on this site is a democrat who will absolutely say she is “open minded;” that she’s a feminist; that women must make their own choices; that women must be free to do whatever they want and wear whatever they damn well please!

- then they force their daughters to go to HOCO dressed in a potato sack.

If you have to wear shorts under your dress, that should tell you something. That something being your skirt should either be a skort or a tad bit longer.

+1 or that the ‘dress’ is actually just a shirt.

But see they are already.
You can tell by the way they write. "If my DD puts on a short, tight dress, that will make her a whore." My DD is not a whore so she will never consider putting on a short tight dress, or I'll "parent" her away from that possibility.

So in their mind, whore≠doctor, lawyer, engineer, teacher. Though that's arguably. Unless they are being trafficked, seems like there could be a second act for even whores, though that's a discussion for another thread.

You have no way of knowing that and I'll bet you are wrong.

At least you agreed with me that moms in the DMV are deciding for their daughters, and sending them to HoCo dressed in potato sacks.
