I was a dyed in the wool Biden supporter until the debate. That was not a one-off debacle. His voice trembled and was hardly above whisper and he had a "deer in the headlights" response many times. He needs to finish out this term, endorse Harris and give his delegates to her. I pray that Pelosi, Jeffries, Schumer, Obama make it clear to the Bidens that it his duty to bow out

Harris, as the former AG Of California will do extremely well on taking on Trump. I would hope that she chooses a moderate (Democrat or Republican) as her running mate. She was an effective campaigner in CA and she has the energy to campaign in every state and win votes.

Can't have a president and vp from the same state. Constitutional issue. California's electoral votes would be discarded and no democrat can win without California. And that is a very losing ticket regardless.

Really? Whatever doesn’t matter, Harris plus some white dude, wins.

What’s up with Mitch laundrieu these days?

You are high if you think anyone but Harris should replace Biden on the ticket. Think about how that plays out for a second. It’s an easy call. Let’s go already.

Harris was actually pretty good in her remarks to the press after the debate. She also had a number of good debate moments in the 2020 run. She clearly would be a far more formidable debate opponent for Trump than Biden.

She need some good messages though; this election is not all about abortion. The border is a huge issue, and her role as border czar will dog her. Ds no longer have a strong message on saving democracy given all that has transpired in the last week.

This board is hilarious. I haven’t been here in a while and forgot all about the nonsense trolls.

That you think she needs a white man is interesting. Tell us more and make us wince.

A little reminder that in her run for president, she had to drop out because her campaign was a mess, she ran out of money, and received no votes.
And, her stint as VP has not helped her any.

And, they would lose in a landslide.

NO ONE wants an 80 year old president who can’t formulate a coherent message. This would bring in women and the Black vote. And the youth vote. And Michigan.

It’s a winner.

There are a lot of VP possibilities. Beshear would be great too. Or pritzker.

Pritzker has too many trans ties.

It’s not about what I want. It’s what I decided voters want. Get real. Harris will be the nominee, plus a younger white man. Harris plus another woman or male poc will not win. I’ll vote for any Dem ticket, but it’s not about me.

Biden should’ve chose Stacy Abrams. Yes she’s boring as heck and has zero executive administrative and is probably closeted but she’s black for real and wasn’t a sideline ho/mistress

It’s helped her a lot actually. And she will have everyone behind her. Let’s go.

She has Trump deep-sixing the bipartisan immigration legislation because he wanted it as a campaign issue!

More everyone would be behind a candidate that people liked instead of tolerated. Just saying.
