The shtick of a hardscrabble family pulling themselves up by their bootstraps sells product but it's not at all reality. Most of the meat and other items they sell are not actually produced on their farm. And yes, the husband's family bankrolls most of their lifestyle. It's fun and games now but it won't be when the kids are old enough to realize their parents pretended to homeschool them and dressed them up in flour sacks and bonnets to get attention on social media.

really? didn't it say she was hospitalized for exhaustion? she does look great despite all those kids though.

Yeah they specifically said they DIDN'T want nannies, so I'm not sure where that pp is getting it from.

It's like so many Utah influencers. They don't have nannies, they have girls from the neighborhood or cousins who watch the kids.

Just leaving this here.

Jesus. Just say you want people to birth more workers instead of whatever this is:

Carney takes a breezy tone and offers tips for making parenting less stressful, gleaned from his own experience as a father of six. “Overly ambitious parenting, often unchosen or unconsciously chosen, is one big reason that parenting seems so hard and so costly,” he writes. “The first prescription for curing our national parenting headache and making a more family-friendly America, then, is convincing everyone to have lower ambitions for their children.”

Never heard of this influencer before seeing this thread so obviously I looked her up. You all had me thinking she would be stunning. She is just your run of the mill, tall, thin, white blonde. Although she’s honestly much stockier than I imagined a professional ballerina to be.

+1. She’s completely annoying, but absolutely built like an ex-dancer.

Her being stocky is crazy! Serious question for that poster: do you have an eating disorder/body dysmorphia?

She is stocky for a ballerina. Not lithe or willowy AT ALL.

And she has hamburger hands.

Honestly. I’m sure Carney et al don’t believe poor black women should have a million babies with “lower ambitions.”

That's not a size zero. Not that it matters.

She's not particularly toned or lithe for a dancer, which also makes sense because she's not currently a professional dancer.

In the beauty pageant videos she looks like a female wrestler, not a female ballerina.

Why does she sound high or drugged in all of her videos? Does she always sound like that?
