I’m really enjoying this season. Did anyone else watch the former Golden Bachelor contestants on Celebrity Familt Feud right afterwards? It was fun!

Joan is a babe now (with a slight joker face- maybe facelift/fillers or whatever). She was not a looker and actually looked like a different human in her flashback photos.

It was so pleasant how many dudes were so sweet/positive/inclusive with the other dudes. That warmed my heart that there was no drama or douchebags (yet?)

The french guy has been in the US for 20+ years so my DH was like 'this accent is bs- he is like a male Sofia Vergara'. But he admitted it when he joked about going to Paris twice yearly to keep up the accent. We feel like he must be rolling in strange though- being straight, french and owning a salon.

Jonathan is super cute but I also think it's weird to be 'blindsided' by a divorce- whether you are male or female.

I loved the dude in the pink jacket touring the mansion and cooking food. Total rube/fish out of water but enjoyable. Jack I think it is. Not for her though. Likely also a major drinker.

I love the guy who is the bachelorette's dad. Mark? He is really cute and so is Cap'n Kim (and I am in no way into old dudes).

That poor lucky bastard Bob who was teaching his kid to surf and got hit by lightening that stopped his heart. I'd keep him long enough to see if he had super powers and to hear more details.

I liked Gary from Palm Springs. Smart, cool and positive. Reminds me of an old Questlove.

I want to marry Charles L who offered to help the other guy cook. That would totally be my FIL if he was stuck in a house of dudes. 'I'm nervous to talk to new people/let me feed people instead'.

I also wonder if she told them only to screen those who will move to her area. I get that some retirees can cut ties to move, but some are actually involved in their kids lives or grandchildren's lives or care and are not able/willing to move to some random place without family nearby.

Yes, Joan is unrecognizable in the flashback photos.

I also liked how the guys seemed so supportive of each other and got emotional during the videos from their families.

Pink jacket guy (Jack?) does give major drinker vibes.

The bachelorette dad (Mark?) seems like a good match for Joan.

I didn't finish last night's episode (fell asleep!) so I don't know yet if any of those guys were eliminated.

Is the budget so low they had to cast 90% Californians (I love California, but this is a big issue)!

I like Dan. He’s open, he’s ok with being a bit goofy, and while the show is set up to have us listen to the men a lot, I get more of a sense that he’s interested in getting to know Joan.

I have a feeling that something not so great is lurking under the surface with Chock. I find Guy very arrogant and he really talks over her. Same for Mark. Gregg also gives arrogant vibes. Charles Ling seems too low energy.

Jonathan seems like a no-go with kids at home and a potentially contentious divorce. I guess we’ll see. I’d like to see more of Kim.

I’m assuming she is under contractual obligation not to kick Pascal.

I wish instead of Gerry they would bring back some of the women! In fact, I wish Joan had a little advisory council staying with her. The guys are having fun, but the women had such a great dynamic.

I agree with all of the bolded, though I think Mark is okay. I'm not gaga over him like many seem to be, find him a bit dull frankly, but he seems nice enough. I also find Kim dull and too rigid.

I'm in the minority but I think she actually likes Pascal, though he is a walking talking red flag.

Yeah, Chock is very heavily featured in the season preview, which means he's definitely not F1. Agree not Mark either, but they need to keep him for a while to set him up for GB.

I get a weird vibe from Chock. Not terribly bad weird, I just would like to know more about his relationship history. I guess I always do with the divorced ones. He definitely sticks around for a while. The previews do give a bit away.

There's something a little glib about Chock. I get in-it-to-win-it vibe, not sincerity.

Joan is less boring than I anticipated. She's doing a pretty good job so far. She's more interesting to watch than I thought she would be.

I like Girl Dad, Florida dad and Kim the best for her. Guy has baggage and doesn't seem that nice. Don't like Bachelorette dad who seems there for publicity. Pascal I dislike. Jonathan has no business being there, his kids are too young plus he can get a woman who is much younger.

I like Jordan, Dan, Keith, Jonathan and Gary but Dan may be a bit too emotional but I liked his talent show performance and he's cute. Kim is okay but seems much older.

Chock is a fake and the way he kept saying, 'She's mine" at Disneyland was too much. Something about his story about his wife was off.

Pascal is gross. Charles L is sweet but I don't see them together. Gil is gross too and someone he dated asked for a restraining order. Does not surprise me.
