Hunter’s plea deal

Karma is real. Bidens threatened Jill's first husband during the divorce and when he refused to bend down, he was charged with tax fraud for $8,000. Now look who is dealing with tax fraud. It comes back and hit you like a boomerang, sometimes even in next generation. Very very fascinating.

Looks like a fraud on the court by both sides. Appears that both sides had an unwritten 'understanding' in addition to the ambiguous/expansive immunity in the Diversion Agreement. Yikes.

"From the start, the judge seemed highly skeptical of the unusual deal — which offered Hunter Biden broad immunity from prosecution in perpetuity, questioning why it had been filed under a provision that gave her no legal authority to reject it. When she asked Leo Wise, a prosecutor, if there was any precedent for the kind of deal being proposed, he replied, “No, your honor.”

Wow.

Nothing amiss here.

For most ordinary practising attorneys w/o connections or 'friends' to call, this sort of thing (depending on how upset the judge is), will result in disbarment/suspension of license and possibly criminal charges as well.

I am neither the judge nor Leo Wise.

No, it would not.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, the noose is tightening around Trump’s neck with new indictments coming from multiple fronts. But, apparently, the alleged crimes of Hunter Biden, a private citizen, are more newsworthy in the alternate news universe of Republicans than those of a former president of the United States.

It’s so predictable. Every time the Hunter posts increase, a big trump crime headline follows in real news organizations.

Certainly, Trump ain't getting no global immunity deal from DoJ in a sneaky way now is he?

How does that relate to Hunter's plea deal?

Why didn't the HB's attorneys speak up during the hearing if they had a verbal agreement as to the immunity covering the FARA charge and other related potential bribery or influence peddling related charges? They had a duty to speak up and protect their client by speaking up. Failure to speak up and protect HB would be a serious violation of the Rules of the Professional Conduct for the DC, MD and VA or wherever those attorneys are licenses.

Fraud on the court may be a problem but this violation is also a problem.

If he agreed to plead guilty then he would certainly get an agreement not to prosecute other related crimes. That’s how plea deals usually work.
