You’ve been raised by helicopter parents who gave you the white glove treatment your entire lives, then get shocked when you’re thrown out into the real world where you learn nobody owes you nothin’, you are not entitled to anything, and you’re not special. Nobody owes you free money to borrow for college with 0% interest rates, lol. Nobody owes you student loan forgiveness, lol. You signed a contract like an adult, now live up to the agreement.

And stop comparing to the PPP. It’s really stupid. The PPP was there because the govt forced businesses to close and shutdown the whole economy. That much govt intervention into private industry required the govt to compensate business owners. If we did nothing we would have been sent back to the Great Depression. Contrast that to student loans. No one owes you anything because you stupidly choose to go to an expensive ass private Podunk U for a worthless social justice degree with an underwater basket weaving minor. We all know you probably also used your student loans to fund living in a swanky apartment complex senior year and used part of it to fund your stupid Friday night bar crawls and spring break trips.

Rather than forgive loans, we should really be removing the govt altogether from student loans and give out zero student loans. If students can’t get money easily then college will get hammered and have to reduce costs and tuition. The economy wouldn’t be hurt that bad either, because 90% of degrees are worthless anyway. Whatever would we do without art degrees, english majors, and gender studies grads? Omg!

Pay your own damn bills.

Says the person who gobbled up every PPP loan her and her greedy hubby could get for their shell “business” and is now decrying an attempt to give middle class people some modest student loan debt relief. So much hypocrisy and clearly lacking the intellectual capacity to see the value in education. Gross.

So only spoiled rich kids like yours can go to college and screw everyone else who can’t pay out of pocket? Let them eat cake, right? People like you are why this country disgusts me.

No. Why didn’t you go to community college or enlist versus leveraging yourself to the hilt on a degree that you want the taxpayers to pay for now?

Why don’t you send your kids to community college or to the military if you think it’s such a great idea?

Pls guys, the Supreme Court has decided, you need to be an adult in society and pay your debt. Why is this so hard for left??

So all the weird weirdos cackling with glee about yesterday’s ruling because they were jealous about this, please know that it will be a short lived “win” for you.

Jealous? Uh, no. We are happy for the hard working tax payers that aren't forced to pay off someone else's debt.

And, this......

"Mr. Biden has now lost four big cases at the Court over his executive power grabs, including the vaccine mandate, the rent-eviction moratorium, and the Clean Power Plan. You’d think he’d get the message, but on Friday he showed no regret for his lawlessness."
~ WSJ

I suspect his new "rulemaking strategy" will also be unConstitutional.

I will not support any cash giveaways or vote buying bills until we have done the absolute best we can to give all children in this country equal opportunity from birth. We are far from that. Let's start with universal pre-k, and then universal pre-pre-K, and then other social programs to reach pre-school age children in their most formative years to give them the nurturing most kids growing up in poverty are currently lacking. Everyone can get behind an effort to help disadvantaged children but unfortunately small children have no vote to buy so they aren't 1st priority for politicians.

Several in my family have been in the military. The rest of us worked during and after college to pay bills. Life is not a free ride.

The majority of college degrees are worthless. Omg, big whooop, spoiled rich kids are the only ones who can get philosophy degrees so that they can land a barista job for $11/h after they get out. So much loss!

When? In 1983? College jobs don’t cover tuition anymore, even at state schools. Most middle class and UMC people need loans to cover tuition. And community college isn’t free either. It still costs plenty and people still need loans for this. Also you need a college education for practically any family supporting job these days. If you don’t understand or can’t appreciate this, especially then I don’t know what to say. You can’t just sit on your privileged perch with your stubborn retro outlook on this and tell 90% of young people whose parents can’t afford to pay for any of this out of pocket to f@ck off.

Go sign the front of a paycheck. Try that out. Also get some experience and knowledge of what actually happened with PPP. Not fake accounts/stories from Reddit. Then, after you realize we are not awash in easy prosecutions that would exist if what you think actually happened, you can come back and see if that perspective actually corrects your backwards thinking. Actually, complete lack of logical thinking.

Well, by your weird measure, every paper pusher in the DMV, probably including you, has a “useless” degree.
