IU or JMU?

Honestly, before starting this thread, I thought IU and JMU both would be pretty great places to go to school. Through 18 pages of dumb & dumber commentary, though, I'm having second thoughts about the quality of both institutions.

So, you admit you are a moron? I mean, I have literally heard of every single state flagship in this country, considering I don't know...the state is in the name.

Touch a nerve, huh?

Sorry your loser kid couldn't get into a better school.

Huh? it's like the PP poster said. You just stated the equivalent of "I never even heard of pizza until last week".

Strange you would brag about that.

You’re not wrong.

Hmmm...please explain why JMU doesn't have more leaders than Harvard (7200 undergrads) on your logic.

Because the vast majority of Harvard kids who aren't DEI are born with a silver spoon in their mouth, not so much for JMU.

You think IU is as ubiquitous as pizza? Everyone in Naples has heard of it?

Bless your heart.

Sure, that's it.

Didn't read the entire thread. IU Bloomington is close to Indianapolis. JMU in Harrisonburg is not not close to Richmond, Virginia Beach, or the DC metro area. IU's music program, theatre programming, museums, and non-football sporting events provide a lot of nearby entertainment. Bloomington faculty are from all over the country and world, likely more so than JMU faculty. Students also come from all over the country and world. JMU is lovely in-state option and great for nearby out-of-state students.

It's funny--was just getting ready to post the same about IU. The alums I know all seemed to love their experience. Clearly both schools have a passionate following.
