Exactly. And this is NOT limited to Gen Ed classrooms, btw. My child (AAP) was constantly being kicked by a classmate. Her desk, her chair, her legs. Constant. We finally had a conference and insisted this kid be removed if he was unable/unwilling to correct this behavior. The teacher merely said there was "nothing she could do." That may very well be the case, in which I place the blame for this squarely on FCPS. I hope this bill passes. |
AAP kids have emotional issues too. Again, this isn't limited to Gen Ed.
