Curious about what? He was gross |
I think he was just a guy she noticed, who noticed her. They were sparking - and I think both of them thought something might happen till Albie came back. I'm not sure why she left with him, though. She's not obligated to him for anything. She has motives - just not sure what they are yet. Maybe she sees him as her way out of this job - but would getting together with him be much better? It reminds me of Rachel and Shane, I guess. |
I don’t think she has any real motives, at least not consciously. I think she’s just aimless and will follow anyone because she has no idea what to do/where to go without being told. |
Potentially, but I still think there's a chance she'll show up, like Molly Shannon did mid-season in Season 1. |
| I love the assistants bushy eyebrows |
Those god awful sandals in Italy of all places!! Barf. Everyone time I see her step out in those I cringe. |
|
Daphne made the jokes about loving the Dateline shows where the husband always gets killed,,,,like wife pulls his scuba O2 line, etc.
I think she is more upset about his cheating and character than she lets on. I think her carefree good time attitude is hiding something much more sinister. I see someone who could easily snap and cold-blood kill, particularly after the way she took such joy in playing mind games and planning not to tell him she had already planned to stay the night away. |
^ not necessarily snap but that she has that suppressed anger that is simmering since the time she found out about his cheating, and she despises the guys he hangs out with for being awful people. She sees he is really no different. |
I really do not think she fooled him into thinking it was a day trip. She got into the car with a huge overnight bag that she presumably packed back in their room. Her DH is a tool but he's not an idiot, and is actually pretty observant (for instance he's been studying Harper and Ethan pretty closely during this trip). I just don't see any way that he didn't know what she was doing, either because they planned it together OR because they just have this power dynamic where he can see what she's doing but they both pretend she's doing something else because it's part of their "game". My bet is that they planned it because there are too many weird behaviors and coincidences that make it feel "off" to me: - The sudden fight between Daphne and Cameron, previously totally in sync - Daphne steering the conversation to Ethan and fidelity and confessing what she knows about Cameron cheating at the exact same time that Cameron seems to be working hard to get Ethan to cheat - Daphne insisting on calling Cameron first to tell him they are staying, which really seemed designed to prevent Harper and Ethan from checking in (we never see Harper call Ethan until the end of the episode) - Cameron asking for money, which is exactly what Harper said he'd do, setting up a potential motivation for blackmailing Ethan It all screams set up to me. I hope it's something else or there's a twist because it would actually be disappointing if it's just exactly what it appears to be. |
I mean duh, I am home with a sick kid and bored to tears, that's what this website is for. I'd rather sit around and speculate about the characters on a show I enjoy to kill time than sit around criticizing people for doing it, though. |
I think the guy in the pool interrupts Albie trying to attack Portia when he brought her up to her hotel room. |
Same! I’m envious
|
Her entire wardrobe nauseates me, but it’s Gen Z fashion, and spot on. |
I want to lick them |
"nauseates"?! |
