It's filmed at The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan. They used to show the film there for guests when I was growing up.

I loved this movie so much when I was younger. But I watched it recently and it gave me an icky feeling - I hadn't remembered how much Richard Collier badgered Elise McKenna; he basically harassed her when she kept saying no. So it's not the same for me anymore.

Until the End of the World by Wim Wenders - predicted our future quite well. Great soundtrack too. It's a long movie, be forewarned. Worth the watch though.

Exactly. If someone asks you to time travel, then you're going to be persistent.
