I thought that movie was so cute! Harrison Ford really made me laugh in that movie playing a Tom Brokaw type I assumed!

I thought of two movies from the 90s today after glancing at this thread. A Far Off Place starring young Reese Witherspoon and Ethan Embry, and White Wolves: A Cry in the Wild 2 starring young Mark-Paul Gosselar and David Moscow (when he was going by Moscowitz). They’re both movies about teens surviving out in the wild in impossible situations. You can now watch both on YouTube. We loved these movies when we were kids and watched them over and over.

The Rebound starring Catherine Zeta-Jones, sweet little film and a very different role for czj. (Directed by Julianne Moore’s husband, rumor had it he and his star got a little too close).

24-Hour Party People. Stars Steve Coogan, grossed a mere 2.8 million at the box office. Love it.

I love A Far off Place. I feel like Reese Witherspoon's career as a young actress is under-emphasized. This was a great little movie - awesome for family movie night.

Delightful, as is the book on which it's based. Look it up, folks.

"There's nooooo butter in hell!!" Our family still uses that line all the time.
