Another gunman, another elementary school

Texas Tribune update: it’s now 18 children and 3 adults dead in Uvalde elementary school shooting

Have the right-wingers starting to excuse it away by blaming it on Latinos yet?

It will be very interesting to see if NRA cancels their annual meeting in a couple of days. What can they possibly say at this event after these two recent shootings?

I seem to remember hearing they cancelled it after Sandy Hook?

Stop it with your racism.

Wasn’t the shooter Latino?

There are white Latinos.

There is nothing “pro life” about caring more for the second amendment than innocent children.

The right/ Trumpers- are world's biggest HYPOCRITES! They don't give a rat's ass about kids! Rest assured, they are going to keep up the fight for Their Gun Rights while avoiding all involvement in making the world safe for kids- gun control, adoption, foster care system, healthy schools, nutrition... HYPOCRITES all of them!

Texas is disgusting. I will never voluntarily go there.

by that logic the following should be outlawed

Driving, Taking a bath, swimming pools etc

Get off this thread a$$hole. 100 children dead + the injured, parents, siblings, family members, friends, neighbors. Report to block this poster!

NP
Listen I’m all about banning guns completely, but people are allowed to have opinions that differ from yours.

Sure minimizing something like this by implying that more kids die in swimming pools is going to get the PP's a$$ kicked IRL and is probably going to give them back a lot of heat online as well.

Perhaps starting paying some attention to the person under your nose who is in dire emotional pain. I guarantee you, there’s someone under your nose who is severely depressed. Pay some attention to them.

Texas gov: If only those kids had guns to protect themselves this tragedy wouldn't have happened.

If these Texan families (and the children’s teachers, neighbors, doctors, etc.) can somehow emerge from the hell they’re in to become mobilized gun control activists, they could be so much more impactful than any previous group. While there are lots of gun people in Connecticut (thinking of Newtown), it’s nothing like Texas. I doubt I would find the strength…

Here comes the spin to make him a white guy. Typical

I'm starting to believe the only way to change this is to kill a loved one of every gun owner in America with a firearm so that they can experience personal loss and perhaps gain some level of perspective. Awful of me to say, I realize. But after Sandy Hook and nothing changed, I don't believe anything but drastic measures can change anything. At least today's tragedy happened in Texas and not Connecticut so maybe the proximity to so many gun-loving people will be able to move the needle...but I doubt it.

Tbh, I think it’s only a matter of time before an insane person shoot’s up an NRA event.

So keep ignoring the breakdown of the family unit?
