Oh, don't get me wrong. I hate H&M too. I'm anti-royalist. Hate them all and think they should all go away. But that PP was definitely seething and sulking. I mostly read this thread because the wildly resentful seething and whining from MM haters is entertaining though, so thanks for that.

Nobody is seething. We just find them exhausting. I’ve reached the point where I’d rather see the media cover the kardashians rather than H+M. At least the kardashians provide entertainment value. H+M just whine about how hard it is to do their important work to save the world while the media they constantly try to control doesn’t worship them.

I personally think the British would be less crazy over this if Meghan had married Edward. Or insert some other descendant of the Queen that no one knows is alive. But Harry was practically the heart of that country. The second of the two 'Lost Princes' the U.K. embraced after their mother's death. He easily connects with people and the Brits felt like he was theirs and theirs alone.

I think we are about a decade away from the BRF being seriously called out as totally unnecessary and a waste of the government money they live on. When that happens, H+M will seem way ahead of their time.

I fully think they are petulant children, but I also think that being a spare royal is a miserable experience. They want the trappings with none of the so-called responsibilities. It’s preposterous that they still want to be called Duke and Duchess — being a Duchess is a profoundly ridiculous thing to be.

All of the royals should be ashamed of themselves. They are classy looking grifters.

Here's the thing. The U.K. has dozens of ducal and assorted noble houses that live their lives with zero 'so-called responsibilities' and all the benefits.

If you want to look just at the royal family, the Nazi King who abdicated was a Duke and given royal appointments despite meeting with Hitler -- you know, the man the U.K. had a bit of a war going on with.

If you want to look at just the modern royal family, Fergie is sitting up nice-and-pretty in a 30-room estate paid for by the Queen and tax with a man she divorced after she got caught trying to sell royal favors in a hotel room among other crap like cheating on said husband in front of her toddlers.

The Royals do not 'earn' their existence. Never have. Never will.

YES. Thank you. They are ALL irrelevant. What they do is not "work"! I am team no one here. They are all a bunch of wealthy celebrities that expect and get worship due to an accident of birth.
