New Additions to Leagues Check Up (ECNL & GA)

Have the boys at United PDXleft ECNL and joined the MLSN/2 side?

There have been rumors for a while this was happening.

If they keep plucking clubs from other leagues and letting them “skip the line” then RL clubs will start to leave. ECNL latest podcast discussed this much.
So Valor becoming FVU's 2nd team is not a crazy notion. FVU Claret 1st team FVU Grey aka Valor 2nd ECNL team.

Aren't Arlington teams essentially FVU 2nd teams already in ECNL heeheheeeee

They will be in Southeast...

There are 15 clubs in southeast and 10
In mid Atlantic. They will make southeast 16 and keep mid Atlantic at 10? Seems like moving the 3 SC teams to mid Atlantic to even out the conferences makes more sense

It does make more sense for that to happen. But parents were told they will be in the Southeast.

SC Surf not going to either conference as they going to ECRL. Announcement on ECNL website says they will be in Southeast conference of ECRL. They will be the 9th team in that conference.

Looks like GA lost Lexington SC (KY), S. Carolina Surf (SC), and Los Gatos United (NorCal). Each has a connection to either ECNL boys or USL so I'm guessing they didn't get MLSn so they hopped to RL. Oh well, none of them were really great. Between the 3 of them across all ages ie 18 teams, they had about 3 winning teams.

Confirmed, Los Gatos United sucked

South Carolina surf was a middle of the road club in GA. so that means they will be at the bottom of the RL standings in each age group. oh my.

That SouthEast RL conference is actually pretty weak. Concorde Fire has two ECNL teams so their 3rd and 4th teams are in RL; CESA and SCUFC aren't good either. Looking at Soccer Rankings, SC Surf should be top or near top in most age groups.
