US has no good options in Ukraine

Out of artillery range; very limited remaining Ukrainian Air Force, and the Russians have fully intact anti-aircraft guided missile systems (like the Buk they used to shoot down that civilian 747 and murder all those children - yeah, that was the Russians).

Modi isn’t driving the posture in this issue.

There is extremely broad based support for neutrality in India except for the very small…like 5% of people who are ameri/anglo-philes.

Yep. As much as DCUM likes to think Indian politics is driven by Hindutva, it actually doesn't work like that on the ground in India. Plus, when India was a Soviet ally, the Congress party was in power.

Not to mention that there is an element of racism in how the US treats India vs how the US treats Israel.

Good point.

People are definitely a lot more mad at India when their Russia policy is pretty similar to Israel.

Hmmm I wonder why

Really? I'm not seeing people calling India "revolting", etcetera.

I don't get why India is enamored with Russia. Russians are massively racist. I used to play on an MMORPG and the Russian players were the worst of anyone. They called anyone who wasn't from a predominantly white country a "monkey", "want a banana?" and far worse horrible racist comments that I can't repeat here, including toward Indians, including a white Frenchman who lived in North Africa. They had special hate for Turks, Dagestanis and others too. Putin himself is a massive Russian nationalist.

Too bad this is a lie. Ignores that facts that Israeli foreign minister has spoken out against Russia over this, has voted to condemn Russia in the UN, offered to mediate talks, and sent something like 100 tons of humanitarian aid.

Sorry, israel is charting it’s own path on this.

Even Lindsey Graham, the most Jewish of gentiles, is mad.

Israel has made it clear that it's a country that stands for absolutely nothing. It will still have transactional relationships with the West, while it continues to be useful, but the veneer has rubbed off.

Russian oligarchs landing in droves in Israel over the last two days, yikes.

Israel stands for the Jewish civilization. It has to make decisions that reverberate for 500-1000+ years, not 10 or 20

No.

Taking sides with the country who tried to assassinate one of the few Jewish Presidents in the world does not look good for Israel.
Taking sides with the country that bombarded a Jewish memorial at a ravine where 30,000 Jews were murdered and dumped into a ravine does not look good for Israel.

No, Israel DOES NOT stand for anything.

I saw a few things in my feeds that lead me to believe that Ukrainian Special Forces have been on the ground stealthily doing things to make life harder for that convoy.

State dept wants Biden to sanction India.

No one wants to sanction Israel.

So it's announced after the deadline for arrival? Or does it mean March 2023?

^^ That’s just for Ukrainians who were here on visas prior to March 1st. Not open to others. Also no talk of how many refugees we will take in.

Zaporizhzhia, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe is on fire. Firefighting efforts are hindered by shelling.

The S-400. That’s why.

India NEEDS the Russian missile system to have any hope of countering China.

They are behind in the arms race, and Modi knows it.

He’s bolstered domestic weapons development, but this takes time.
