Most likely, the GOP ignores everything what was said, and vote him in anyway, and pissed off women vote Democrat by droves in the mid-terms.

When would the vote be?

Tomorrow, I think, right?

Lol. But sure.

Ford was a great witness and credible, but she doesn’t have any compelling evidence to support her claim. After her testimony everyone thought Kavanaugh was toast. But then Kavanaugh came out with a compelling opening statement, backed up by a little shred of hard evidence (his diaries). But then, with nearly every question he asks, he answers with crazy anger and disrespect to the Senators, and also his answers about high school life are not compelling and he doesn’t come off as truthful.

Bottom line, Ford didn’t make her case but Kavanagh is coming off, at best, as lacking the temperament to be on the SC, and at worst, an angry boozehound rapist.

Ford came off as a mental case. Kavanaugh is coming off as a man fighting for his life.

Ford came off as completely credible. She has nothing to gain from lying. She answered all questions, tried to be helpful to the senators, offered to be interviewed by the FBI, offered a polygraph test to prove her veracity.

Kavanaugh is coming off as someone with something to hide. He is coming off as a liar. He obfuscates, prevaricates, dodges, lies outright. He's come up with some pretty creative explanations for his high school behavior.

There is NO deadline for confirming a SCOTUS judge. The GOP delayed Merrick Garland's hearing for a year.

She will be a hero to the left.

But wha the democrats are doing today is downright demonic. Really disgusting sham.

uh huh

I am appalled by both sides. Feinstein put Ford out as a sacrificial lamb. I feel horrible for her.

As one who liked him as a judge, I'm very disappointed to see this side of him. And it continues, over and over. It doesn't square with all the stellar recommendations. I know he's been run through the wringer the last couple of weeks, but that is no excuse for a professional. I regret I have to question if his temperament is appropriate for a judge.

Here's one of the GOP Senators on the Committee.

HATCH on having a Judiciary Cmte vote tomorrow: “I’m ready, I don’t see any reason to put this off, I think (Kavanaugh) has acquitted himself very very well.”

he just babbles about church, being top of his class, soup kitchens, catholic school girls (only) and minute details and play by play of his fondest memories that have nothing to do with the question.

He is a liar. Isn’t there anyone else they can get?!

I was away from the live feed (and this thread) for a couple of hours and now have almost 100 pages to read. Unreal.

I think Kavanaugh is great. I don’t think you can oppose based on accusation, no corroboration. I’m disgusted at the smear. Pure political timing.
