Sean “Diddy” Combs accused of gang rape of teen girl in new lawsuit

I would be highly suspicious if I was a juror. I think the evidence of abusing his ex is obvious but that is not what he is being charge for. So far it looks like he is an abusive guy who has some weird (well I think weir) sex habits but there is a world full of sei gees so that doesn’t seem illegal. I also noticed even the sex wonder says he was asked if he wanted to have sex and not had to so that makes this case harder.
I listen to the trial every day. There is plenty being struck. As far as believing the witnesses, that’s up to the jurors. It’s the prosecutors job to make their witnesses appear truthful and honest. So far they have done a very good job of this. The wittness have corroborated others testimony. The defense’s job is to make these witnesses appear dishonest, catch them in lies or find inaccuracies, attack their image, find dirt on them etc. Anything that will cause doubt for the jurors. So far the defense job has done a very poor job of this.

The jurors will be well equipped to decide Diddy’s fate. Before they deliberate the judge will go over each charge, define the charge, and explain what is needed to find a guilty or non guilty verdict.

As someone who has been watching this closely and who has read each persons testimony thus far, it’s looking bad for Diddy. The defense has a lot of work to do if they want to win this case.

Each of the prosecution witnesses are corroborating what each other are saying. These aren’t just people that were in a relationship with him with a vendetta…its staff that worked for him, police officers, investigators, etc. For example, one of the police officers who arrived to Kid Cudi‘s house just corroborated that there was a vehicle from bad boy records there because he ran the plates. This validates both Diddys assistant who testified yesterday said and what Cassie said. So I’m not understanding what you think should be struck?

On top of that, the defense has not done hardly anything to show that these witnesses are untrustworthy.

Plus video and picture evidence.

Correct, we heard her testimony from her point of view in Diddy's vehicle, and then the police officer's point of view from his vehicle. And the accounts matched.

Diddy's lawyers just called for a mistrial because the prosecution implied Diddy may have destroyed fingerprint evidence on the glove found in Kudi's car. The judge ruled that the arson investigators testimony could be struck but the mistrial request was declined

The arson investigator said he wanted to interview witnesses from Diddy's camp but nobody would talk to him.

I found this podcast really well done as it lays out some of the complexities of feelings around this case.

“As Sean “Diddy” Combs stands trial in New York, the music industry is reckoning with a hard truth: how did he stay untouchable for so long? Music journalist Sowmya Krishnamurthy—who once interned at Bad Boy Records—joins Audie to unpack how hip-hop missed its Weinstein “Me Too” moment. “

Maybe because he was a black Epstein? His whole being was a blackmail scheme? Interesting how we don’t hear about secret camera footage & all the celebs and politicians at these orgy parties during the trial…

Those people are not on trial. Diddy is. With very strong evidence against him. A blackmail scheme? Clearly you didn’t listen to the pod.

I lost access to the boards yesterday until just now. Was I the only one? Anyway, there is A LOT going on in court today. It's more really damaging testimony against Diddy, and again, the defense is not doing a good job of going after these witnesses. They have not challenged any of the awful things these people have testified about Diddy. Right now they are just coming back from lunch and we have Mia, the anonymous witness who Diddy sexually assaulted, on the stand. She has been a really good witness for the prosecutors, so far. Every time I think it can't get worse, each new witness describes more horrific details.

Yikes- and this isn’t even the worst of it
“The witness recalled a scary confrontation in 2012 when she and Ventura were barricaded into a beachside room, hiding from an enraged Combs during a vacation in the Turks and Caicos islands.

They pushed furniture to block the front door as Combs was allegedly banging and screaming to be let inside.

"I was looking at Cass and she was screaming for help and, 'You have to help me, Puff is going to kill me,'" "Mia" recalled. "She is usually chill and calm and she was terrified."

The pair dashed out a back door to the beach and out to a paddle board, allowing them to flee into the water.

"The weather shifted dramatically and the sky turned black," Mia remembered. "We were both debating. I was trying to weigh if it was scarier to face Mother Nature or go back to Puff. We eventually went back to Puff."

Did you see this part of her testimony?

AUSA: What did he throw at you?
Mia: A bowl of spaghetti. Turkey meat. A computer. A phone.
AUSA: Let's talk about the spaghetti. What did he tell you to do?
Mia: To go get people. But I needed to change my tampon. He yelled, Yo girl, I said do it now
Mia: Blood was dripping down my leg. I said, I have to go change my tampon.
AUSA: What did Mr. Combs do?
Mia: He threw his bowl of spaghetti at me, then said, Get the f*ck out of my house. He chased me out. I was barefoot. I hid in a bush, then to a hotel

I wish Wendy Williams still had her show and was well. Diddy had Wendy fired from HOT 97 in NYC way back in the late 90s, and he had Total (who was signed to Bad Boy at the time) try to jump her. Wendy has been calling out this predator ever since. I would LOVE to hear her thoughts on everything going on right now. I miss The Wendy Williams show!

My god, and we thought Cassie was the star witness, and then we said Capricorn Clark was really the star. And now hearing "Mia" today, wow! If you guys want to follow the testimony, this twitter page is live-tweeting the testimony from each witness. It's worse than you can imagine. I'm positive he lost the jury. I don't see how he can come back from this. During cross his defense team has not challenged any of the awful things these witnesses have described. https://x.com/innercitypress

How does one listen to it?

This guy is a paralegal and he has been following the case since the day Diddy was arrested. Since the trial started, he goes live every day and reads the live tweets coming from Twitter of the questioning of the witnesses. He meticulously discusses the testimony, the strategy of both sides, and everything that is happening in court. While he waits for new tweets to come out, he takes questions from the people in his chat. And then every evening, he goes live again and he recaps what happened that day and answers more questions. He has between 3-4k people in his live every day. Sometimes people who live at the courthouse will come up during his live and tell what they are seeing there, describing the scene and even the witnesses as they enter and leave the courthouse. So that's what I meant when I said I'm listening. Unless you are there in the courtroom or one of the overflow courtrooms, there is no way to listen directly to what is happening in the courtroom.
