Why do you women do this to yourselves? Don't you watch enough chick flicks where husbands screw hot young babysitters or maids or tutors or whatever? When you bring help to your house, just avoid young good looking women, especially if you are afraid they will snag your well-off good looking DH. Problem solved.

I must say I agree. I don't understand why any woman, no matter how young, good looking, rich, confident... would bring competition into her own home. My nanny is 50 and I still never let her alone with my husband for more than a few minutes.

I noticed a trend that women actually insist on hiring good looking babysitters, as if they are trying to prove to the world how secure they are in their marriage.

Who cares about the cosmic state of marriage, blah blah... Bottom line is, those things happen, and if you don't want it to happen to you, then why put yourself in a situation which makes that possible.

You don't trust your husband that much that you are afraid to leave him alone with a 50 year old woman for more than a few minutes? Jesus. God forbid he be around women of his own age - or even younger - at work or a social event? What if he travels for work? I travel with my 58 year old male boss all the time. Maybe his wife should forbid that too?
