What I posted was taken directly from the info sent out with Spirit’s official offers. Nothing else has been provided since then,

Have heard informally that Spencer may coach two teams; that if Tom coaches, it’ll be the 04s; and that at least one very good player may be leaving Spirit, presumably for ECNL but no definitive answer yet.

A VERY good player huh...lmfao..and what might that age group might that be in?

Relax folks. It is the DCUM SP. He knows all, he sees all, and has total knowledge of every club and player, regardless of age group. Thank God we have him to guide us poor little peons. All hail the DCUM SP!!

His daughter is the only real talent around anyways. She’s in the NT. Oh wait, maybe not, because theonly NT players around here are at FCV. But nonetheless, shes still the bast player around. That’s just an oversight. He’ll set US Soccer straight soon. All hail the DCUM SP!

No, most of us don’t want that but someone keeps hijacking the board with his own agenda.

Not much of a backroom deal when a couple of kids are talented.

Come on you guys. Im sure they tried out like everyone else.

Did the FCV 04s get stronger or weaker with the additions? That is all that matters. If the kids went to Spirit the same things would be said.

This is exactly right. If DA reps daughter stayed ECNL, then everyone would be screaming how even a DA rep has her child in ECNL and that the DA won’t survive. Fact is, the FCV 04 team is the most talented 04 team in the area right now and even more so after the additions. Maybe that lasts maybe it doesn’t. But that is the case at this time. With that comes roster movement and even so, it doesn’t look like the FCV 04 is changing very much so maybe the DA rep is just a poor recruiter. Lol.

On top of that, it looks like the DA hit ECNL much harder in 05 and 06 age groups. What does the DA rep in question have to do with those girls unless DA reps daughter is playing 04 05 and 06. Lol. And maybe this DA rep is so powerful that the rep is able to convince parents to make the (dumb?!?) decision to leave the watered-down ECNL for the GDA. More lol. But somehow this rep didn’t affect the 03 age group since the super strong BRYC 03 team seems to be staying intact. Maybe DA rep wasn’t sneaky enough to trick the obviously much smarter 03 age group parents. Final lol.

Bottom line, put your kid in the situation best for them and stop worrying every second what other people are doing. There are favors, butt kissing, pay-2-play and arrogance at everyone’s club in this area. If you don’t see that, just take off the rose-colored glasses.

LMAO - How is FCV 04 the most talented team in the area? They lost a game to Annandale AUFC last month - also lost game to Virginia Rush in April. Give me a break. Many area teams are better.

Lord have mercy. You can't be this ignorant.

It’s funny how people will make a verdict like “best team in the area” over U14s LMFAO. Gauge where they’re at in 3-4 years and see if they followed the trajectory you thought they would, but to make a claim like that at U14? Pssshhhh

Just so that the rest of us idiots can keep up with your brilliance, did FCV04 GDA surreptitiously play Annandale or VA Rush or are we misreading the VPL results that show FCV 04 second team (not GDA) lost to Annandale and VA Rush? Not only are you ignorant about the subject matter in your post, but you’re ignorant about your ignorance.

I think the statement posted was “most talented” 04 group. If that isn’t true today (player development isn’t linear), then which group fits the bill? And I am not asking the genius that doesn’t know the difference between GDA and VPL teams.

FCV 04 has a good crop of kids. Most talented group in NOVA. Doesn't mean every kid on roster is better then every other 04 kid in NOVA.

But as a whole...a team..there good.

I've seen some better 04 players elsewhere though. But that's always the case.

Fair point, and by adding the 3 players they did (a center back/outside back in addition to the 2 already reported) they will be even better. I personally will be interested to see the battle between FCV and Arlington next year.

Accurate assessment IMHO. It would take an act of God to get the 18 most talented players on a single squad. At a minimum, the bottom five of those 18 wouldn’t settle for reserves minutes and head elsewhere to be bigger fish.

Your joking right? Arlington will have their butts handed to them. Arlington is about to step into another level.
