Not much of a backroom deal when a couple of kids are talented.

Come on you guys. Im sure they tried out like everyone else.

Did the FCV 04s get stronger or weaker with the additions? That is all that matters. If the kids went to Spirit the same things would be said.

This is exactly right. If DA reps daughter stayed ECNL, then everyone would be screaming how even a DA rep has her child in ECNL and that the DA won’t survive. Fact is, the FCV 04 team is the most talented 04 team in the area right now and even more so after the additions. Maybe that lasts maybe it doesn’t. But that is the case at this time. With that comes roster movement and even so, it doesn’t look like the FCV 04 is changing very much so maybe the DA rep is just a poor recruiter. Lol.

On top of that, it looks like the DA hit ECNL much harder in 05 and 06 age groups. What does the DA rep in question have to do with those girls unless DA reps daughter is playing 04 05 and 06. Lol. And maybe this DA rep is so powerful that the rep is able to convince parents to make the (dumb?!?) decision to leave the watered-down ECNL for the GDA. More lol. But somehow this rep didn’t affect the 03 age group since the super strong BRYC 03 team seems to be staying intact. Maybe DA rep wasn’t sneaky enough to trick the obviously much smarter 03 age group parents. Final lol.

Bottom line, put your kid in the situation best for them and stop worrying every second what other people are doing. There are favors, butt kissing, pay-2-play and arrogance at everyone’s club in this area. If you don’t see that, just take off the rose-colored glasses. [/qu

Sound real emotional with the post. Hit home? The player that FCV lost is better then the piclups..so again. ....no change

Everyone’s kid is the best player in the area. Lol.

Are you saying FCV04 did not roster 7 current DA players?...not DPs...but 7 FT players?

Sounds high...i know one with an offer chose to leave....but.......

They were at 22, wanted to get down to 18 and added 3 outside players.

Wrong. They were at 20, wanted to get down to 18. They had 5 DA kids that weren't rostered again. Heard 3 new kids, haven't heard about anyone with offers turning it down

And yet, even at 18 on the roster, 2 of those will not play on any given gameday. Not to mention, for the 04's, the year after next, the group gets roughly cut in half, assuming ussf does not change the age groupings. Great if you are among the top 5. FCV has the top players, but it will be an even more cutthroat environment going fwd. YMMV.

US Soccer changed the sub # for U15. All 18 can play, but just because they can doesn't mean they will

LMAO - How is FCV 04 the most talented team in the area? They lost a game to Annandale AUFC last month - also lost game to Virginia Rush in April. Give me a break. Many area teams are better.

Wrong. They were at 20, wanted to get down to 18. They had 5 DA kids that weren't rostered again. Heard 3 new kids, haven't heard about anyone with offers turning it down

They're not renewing 4 offers. One is leaving despite an offer. That makes 5. They just added a backup goalkeeper to their roster. So they are now at 21.

Considering everything stays the same......21-5 =16 +2 from Mclean =18

Far as I know (heard), Spirit existing players have not received official offers.

Although, newly rostered kids have.

So, who knows how they will look next year

Unless..the backup 05 goalie added to the roster will go to 05 next year which leaves room for another pickup...which goes back to the earlier poster saying that someone VERY good was leaving Spirit... I'm assuming they would be leaving Spirit for FCV...perhaps? Maybe someone who was scouted by the DA rep in the past? Who knows...lmfao..what a circus

Some ECNL tryouts were attended as a backup plan . Numbers may be a little off. From what I'm hearing...Mclean is losing players and at least a coach.

Loudoun 04s picked up some eirher leaving or cut from DA's

I've heard something similar. For the 04s, seems there will be player movement back and forth. Some leaving the GDA for ECNL and some leaving the ECNL for the GDA, and seems to be a net status quo. For the younger age groups, it seems to be more net movement toward the DA. For McLean, they have lost a coach. I'm not sure if any of his current players will go with him to the DA or not.

Once again, there are no kids leaving GDA for ECNL. There are kids who didn’t make GDA who are going to ECNL but don’t make it sound like they chose ECNL over DA. The choice was made for them.

Once again, you are incorrect. I kmow of kids who ,ade GDA in the 04 age group who left for the ECNL. It was over coaching.

No you don’t.

Lol!!!! You are not only arrogant, but crazy too. You don't know who i am or who i know. But since i now know youre crazy, I’ll just ignore you. To everyone else, they know I'm talking firsthand information..

1 kid......1.....because of playing time. When you're on a stacked team be prepared to get what a stacked team offers in terms of playing time. If not, go somewhere else. Which is what that 1 player has decided to do. Left a good DA team for ECNL. Which could workout out...maybe not. But I agree...the coach is over rated with an over valued ego obtained by the parents who kiss to much a$$.

That’s probably a fair comment.
