Kids are being killed every day, let’s care about that, not some stupid YouTube guy. I don’t know what’s going on with NBC, I’m going to stop watching if this is what the coverage is like.”

Essentially my mother honed in on how the media is desperately flailing to make people care about Charlie Kirk more than the dozens of children dying every day due to gun violence.
He wasn’t just some youtube guy - he founded a movement. Don't go to the clueless for advice.

When you call a nonprofit a “movement“ you sound culty.

We really need to figure out why white people in America at this moment in time are so desperate for a cult savior. Is it just the pressure of not being born at the apex of society anymore? Like, they are kind of lost because they realize that being born White doesn’t award them any special powers?

Because most white people are racist and are going to follow anyone who tells them they aren’t racist.

The way the GOP is carrying on you would think the Almighty himself was the one who passed.

I don’t know why people that called themselves Christian idolized some men so much. Isn’t idolatry against the scripture?

Why does them paying their respect to their friend bother you? And how does that compare to Saint Fauchi or Saint Floyd?

Because what other civilian has had a military honor guard like that? Bet you can’t name one off the top of your head.

A lot of people may not know this, but Charlie actually had a really good sense of humor and would laugh at himself often.

He was a laughing stock for so many people. A good sense of humor requires some level of intelligence, but I am sure his crowd thought very highly of him. Trump has an excellent sense of humor as well.

Oh the irony in your statement.

The behavior is very strange but firing up the Christian Right is the point.

Christian nationalism was a part of domestic terrorism that used to be investigated. Now it’s government funded.

+100. We better get used to it. It’s our new reality.

Our tax dollars spent to transport a civilian?? Getting weirder and weirder

It’s only weird if you think of the Trump regime as a “normal” administration. They are not.

They are operating outside of our democratic political system. This is what authoritarian do.

White culture is in shambles and people are looking for a community. White people are not allowed to view other white people as their community in the same way that latinos or AA or Asians because racism. That leaves a void. Nature abhors a vacuum.

I mean, this is BS. We have Scottish walks, hughland games, Irish heritage parades, October festivals and German celebrations, Italian celebrations.

Heck my grandma was Dutch and we all wore our orange shirts and watched soccer together.

We also have Appalachian culture, Southern culture, white Portland culture.

There's plenty to find. Now if you start talking about white pride, sure I'm going to side eye you. But you attend an Irish parade or do a debutante ball? No problem.

This is absolutely outrageous. I cannot believe they used Air Force Two for this.

Bodies are transported in caskets in FedEx and UPS air cargo planes every day. He can ride with the mail order packages of printer toner and fake rubber dogsh!t, where he belongs

We need to hear more about this suspect in custody, ASAP. The longer they wait, the more conspiracy theories will flourish, and groups of people will be targeted in retaliation.

I wish that all of these fans of Charlie Kirk could see objectively how they are being used by the Trump administration.

The reality is it doesn't matter. People were saying online yesterday the Minnesota shooter was a liberal when he blatantly and clearly was not.

For those questioning all the media coverage, it’s the first time an American has been publicly assassinated in the US for their political beliefs SINCE 1968. It’s a big deal.

Agreed, but the reality is if the shooter is NOT a “radical left wing” trans individual, the right simply won’t believe it or will spread information that he is one.
