WS coach here. Not sure what you what you mean by downhill. We ended our season at the same point in the bracket as last year after losing 12 seniors last year.

Agree here. Not a good look. Especially when you defend yourself by making an excuse (losing 12 seniors) too. Should be teaching your team to not make excuses and to stay off message boards.

Did you read her whole post or were you too quick to respond that you missed the point? She wasn’t making excuses, she was providing context and saying that despite losing a lot of players they still performed the same or better than last year. Everyone wants to say how great things were under BP except statistically the team did better this year and our kids were a lot happier. Look at the records, look at the matchups, look at the scores. Y’all are trying to make it sound like the program took a nose dive but there’s no evidence to support that claim. I guess that’s why you complain anonymously on the internet. God forbid you actually do a little research or listen to what our kids are saying about how much better of a season this was under the two new coaches. Y’all have been coming at our coach and our team all season even though there’s nothing to back up what you’re saying. Crazy that you didn’t complain about BP like this even when he had a similar (or worse) record. I guess y’all just like taking shots at the two new female coaches.

Coaches are allowed to defend themselves, as they're human beings and have a voice just as much as anyone on this forum. There has been a consistent nagging on the WS coach the whole season, and most of it is unwarranted. The WS coach has done a great job this season, not only with pulling together a very young team, but also as a new head coach thrust into the role unexpectedly. However, she's very capable and knows what she's doing;this isn't a "public relations" issue, this is a coach being passionate about their job and their team, which is what you want from a coach.

If she was very capable or knew what she was doing, probably would’ve had a plan to win playing most of the game man up against a much lower ranked team. Maybe be a little more passionate about coaching them up ahead of time in the future…

Coaches can talk as much as they’d like, ultimately it’s on the players to respond. There are so many other variables in a game as well that a coach simply cannot perfectly practice exactly how the game is going to go;There was a definite plan, and preparation was adequately made. Also, I find it slightly ironic that y’all are attacking a coach’s passion, yet taking time out of your day to passionately bash a coach on a forum.
