I just read both. Both have a nice statement about dei, but neither have an ongoing task force for 5 years screaming about the past to punish the present. If lacrosse wanted to be more diverse, the orgs taking your money (USL, PLL, clubs and whoever) would devote more time and effort into securing field and practice space where there is a more diverse population like cities. Kids from DC aren't rolling out to Bullis and Nova for practice. Go talk to Breslin or Jones about their efforts. They are part of the few who can really speak to what is holding back the growth of the sport. |
Last time I checked, this was a forum for discussing lacrosse. If you want to talk DEI ( didn’t earn it) go to the political forum or the daily kos, huff po or whatever site likes that dreck. |
Sjc gonna win the wcac once again |
Says the clown using right-wing hot takes. Just let it go, already. Note: I do agree with you, nonsensical political takes don't need to be in this forum, so let's all not contribute. |
Bullis. Makes sense. |
Racism should never be “cured” with more racism. “My dad was a drunk, abuser, racist”…should the beginning of “so I will never be one of those things” not the more of the same by the next generation. |
I forgot how tiny he is until I saw he recently. Makes you wonder about the lax of yore. Jim Brown was not the baseline for sure. |
Same middle aged white snowflakes who whine about diversity also pick on innocent kids. Whatever you think of CM, leave his kid alone. |

Cant speak to EHS but can to Saints. EVERY sport there is down except girls lacrosse - all Coach Jenkins. It is just most obvious on the boys lax side since they're three years removed from a state title and a top 20 national ranking. This drop was orchestrated by school admissions and leadership who prioritized full pay kids and arts/sciences applicants over athletics. There is a long line of great area lax kids who chose other schools over SSSAS simply because the school either wouldn't follow-up with them or couldn't be flexible on aid. For this, the former boys lax coach bears a lot of the blame, too. Sure, he won state three years ago but he did so with the former coach's talent and a big part of the ML '22 team. DEI didn't help, but the staffing issues and the school tuition are much more of the problem. So, while SSSAS has had a tough go this season, there is a positive. Coach Ince was a big loss for us at SJCHS especially on the offensive side of the field, but he will turn it around at Saints, if he can get some help from the school's leadership, alumni and admissions. |
Yeah they can blame tiny pops for buying their way onto any field theyve ever been on with other club members' money for that, snowflake. So, no, they won't be left alone as long as they're very publicly stinking up the joint with their tiny selves, thanks to the mouse that roars that is CM. |
Top 10 worst predictions of all time. |
Maddox just swiped half a mediocre richmond team to cover the bleed out from his revolving door of '28 team, I'm guessing to provide some cover for his tiny attacker. The little man does manage to sucker new folks every year, but praising that is like praising a fentanyl dealer for being able to move low quality product to addicts. |
Ah, so it comes full circle back to DC private school lax. I'd expect some of those players to end up at EHS to build a wall around maddux jr jr. And EHS's Maddux Era will be in full swing - mid-grade athletes, low lax IQ, and his kids. Dodge dodge miss for 2026! |
