Well it is controversial because it sounds nice to me. Plus a nice book and a fire. |
....and a bunch of cats. |
I can neither confirm nor deny that I’ve been to the Mustard Museum. If you’re the poster talking about simply dipping your tines in a lovingly-made dill mustard - I will concede that may enhance a plate of greasy diner hash browns. |
| Ramen restaurants don't offer any better ramen than I can make at home with some Top Ramen and "stuff" added on top. ITS THE SAME THING. |
|
I think fish tastes awful. Is this controversial?
Also, not a fan of the texture of steak |
I disagree with this. Most vegan, GF people I know have good reasons. |
| Peanut butter is disgusting! You can only like it if you grew up with it. It escapes me why anyone thinks it is awesome. |
Consider trying a nice fresh natural peanut butter lightly spread inside a sharp cheddar quesadilla. |
Babygirl, get yourself some crackin' good hashbrowns and try out a little of the dill/lemon/capers one on the side. Marvelous. |
The best ramen I've had was at Narita Airport called Tomita Ramen. I highly doubt that could be recreated at home with instant anything. |
| Panera is disgusting and 2-3x overpriced. A toddler could make that bland half-ass crap they serve. |
I guess it depends on how you make them... Bland and starchy with no variation in texture is not how I do thanksgiving. Dry brined turkey with crispy skin Garlic mashed potatoes Crisp tender green beans with almonds Turkey gravy and mushroom gravy Citrus cranberry conserve I also add several other sides depending on my mood that year, including a simple massaged kale salad and pickled vegetables. Nothing seems all that starchy except mashed potatoes. If you have mushy bland flabby skinned turkey with overboiled potatoes, gloppy jar gravy, gloppy canned cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole, and boiled to death green bean baked in casserole, then yeah. But thanksgiving has changed since we were kids I think! |
They make the perfect sandwich though. An angel biscuit weekend mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, turkey, and stuffing. It's the best. |
With a Victorian sponge topped with Harrod’s ginger creme for pudding. |
Ew WTF?? Now that is controversial. |
